EURO 2024: The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between GEORGIA v CZECH REPUBLIC, TURKEY v PORTUGAL and BELGIUM v ROMANIA all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
GEORGIA V CZECH REPUBLIC
2pm We have another cracking weekend from Euro 2024 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have some fascinating games today, and we kick off the action in Group F with Georgia meeting Czech Republic. It wasn’t without drama, but Turkey and Portugal got off to the perfect start on Tuesday leaving Georgia and Czech Republic on the backfoot. These two would have been expected to exit at the Group stage, but now this is a must win game to try get back into the mix. From a Czech Republic point of view, they will be thinking a win here and Portugal winning against Turkey will give them a winner takes all game against Turkey next week. It was an incredible achievement that Georgia made it to Euro 2024; we saw some fantastic scenes when they scored – not fantastic scenes beforehand though as the fans clashed in the stadium! However, they do look short on quality and although Czech Republic are a reasonably limited side themselves, it’s no surprise to see them trading as the odds on favourites here. Czech Republic are 1.78 with Georgia 5.1 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. With both sides having to win now, we should see an entertaining game.
We actually had a cracking game between Turkey and Georgia – aside from the trouble between the fans it was one of the most entertaining games of Euro 2024 on the pitch. We had a total xG created of over 5.0 between the two sides, and Georgia finished the game with an xG over 2.0. They didn’t deserve to win the game, but if they created the same level of chances here than Czech Republic will have a difficult afternoon. Portugal left it very late to find a winning goal against Czech Republic on Tuesday night but they deserved to win. Czech Republic didn’t offer much going forward, and obviously they have a big step down in class here but they’ll have to do better up front. I do feel that Czech Republic will outclass Georgia, however the 1.78 doesn’t make any appeal – it’s hard to say that they should be massively shorter having watched the opening games. The bet that jumps off the page here is Over 2.5 goals at 1.96 – I was surprised to see it trading so high when I clicked into the market. Georgia will likely play a very open game again, and Czech Republic have to go for the win as well – I can see an end-to-end game with plenty of mistakes at the back too. Overs is a confident bet.
The Ultra Says:
Four points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.96 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

TURKEY V PORTUGAL
5pm We stay in Group F next as the top two sides clash! It will be very interesting to see how this one plays out; Turkey must be full of confidence after their opening performance while Portugal had to wait until injury time to find a winner. Portugal were a very popular choice in the Outright market in the build-up to the tournament. Obviously an opening win is job done, but at times in the first half Portugal backers might have been questioning their decision! We landed a nice Five Star NAP on Portugal, which is always a boost when you get an injury time winner! They come into this game as the odds on favourites again at 1.61 with Turkey 6.0 and the draw is 4.5 at the time of writing. I was very confident on the Portugal win against the Czech Republic, I felt that they were immense value at 1.54 but I don’t have the same opinion here. At 1.61 only seven ticks away from the Czech Republic price, I don’t see any value in the Portugal price here. Turkey are a better side than Czech Republic in my opinion, and they topped a much more difficult qualifying Group as well.
Turkey finished ahead of Croatia and Wales in their Group, while Czech Republic finished behind Albania on goal difference – getting quite lucky that Poland were so bad because everyone would have expected to see Poland top that Group. The worry with Turkey is they conceded a lot of chances against Georgia in a very entertaining game, however they got the job done with three goals – it was an end-to-end game and they did finish with a higher xG created. Portugal were fantastic at the back, keeping Czech Republic down to an xG of under 0.5. I don’t think we’ll see such an open game here, but at the same time I think Turkey are going to be an entertaining side to watch in Euro 2024. I’m going to keep stakes a little limited because Portugal are so good at the back, but Both Teams To Score looks a good value position at 1.82.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 1.82 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BELGIUM V ROMANIA
8pm We move to Group E to finish Saturday at Euro 2024 with a massive game for Belgium as they take on Romania. Belgium couldn’t have started the tournament any worse with a loss against Slovakia – one of the highest priced sides heading into the Euros this summer! Once again we’re going to have all the “Belgium bottlers” comments – breeze through qualifying without a major and then fluff their lines once they reach the major tournament. It’s a show we’ve watched countless times with Belgium in recent years! Once again it was Romelu Lukaku missing all the chances for Belgium; they finished the game with an xG of over 2.0 but couldn’t find the back of the net. When they crashed out of the World Cup with a 0-0 against Croatia they had an xG created of over 3.0 – Lukaku again missing some huge chances. You don’t need me to tell you that this is a must win game for Belgium now; they would have been expected to top this Group but that’s up in the air now – given that they got a weak Group on paper, you’d have to still expect them to get through. It’s pretty simple what they have to do; they just have to start taking their chances! You couldn’t say they played badly, they just couldn’t score but as I said before, this is something we’ve watched before with Belgium.
It’s not a surprise to see Belgium come into the game as the hot favourites. They are trading 1.51 at the time of writing with Romania 7.8 and the draw is 4.7. I have to say I was very confident on the Belgium win in the opening game, there was a massive gulf in class between the sides and Slovakia, on paper, were there for the taking. You could say similar things about Romania but they started their tournament with a massive bang as they beat Ukraine 3-0. They scored some excellent goals, and kept Ukraine down to an xG created of over 1.0. You have to respect that performance, but obviously they are stepping up a few levels now against Belgium. The biggest question here is; can we trust this Belgium side in front of goal? I can see them being the better side again, creating an xG of over 2.0 again, but as I said above they have broken hearts countless times before at major tournament. I am a little worried we might see Belgium struggle to convert their chances again so I’m limit stakes, however I do expect them to deliver another 2.0+ xG perform and based on that, the 1.51 is worth backing. Hopefully this time they can find the net!
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Belgium to beat Romania at 1.51 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
