EURO 2024: The Ultra previews Tuesday’s 8pm games between ENGLAND v SLOVENIA and DENMARK v SERBIA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ENGLAND V SLOVENIA
8pm Next we move over to Group C with everything to play for. After two draws last Thursday there’s only three points between all four sides now. England are in a good position as they sit top, but their two performances have been pretty lacklustre. They face a Slovenia side now who have been tough to beat with two draws; all eyes will be on what Gareth Southgate decides to do tactics wise. This England side has an incredible amount of talent available, but at the moment they haven’t found a system that works. After everyone had played two games, they had the second lowest xG created – the lowest was Scotland but obviously they had a viral xG of 0.00 against Germany in the opening game of the tournament. Despite England’s troubles creating chances, they come into this game as the red-hot favourites. They are trading 1.41 at the time of writing with Slovenia 11.0 and the draw is 4.9. There’s no getting away from the fact that England are a much better side than Slovenia on paper; there’s a huge gulf in class between the sides talent wise. However, the two England performances so far wouldn’t have you rushing to back them at 1.41 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
I know cagey football for the most part does very well at major tournaments, but we need to see more from England. Harry Kane has been very poor, but you could say the midfield isn’t helping him. The UK media has been having a go at the midfield, but they are playing out of position – it’s hard to be too harsh on Foden for example. Southgate is definitely under pressure to find a system that works. We have an interesting situation here because Slovenia could be in a position where three points might be good enough for one of those third-placed spots to go through. They have the advantage of playing later than the other three groups and will know what is needed to get into that top four. I feel they’ll put XI men behind the ball here and see what England can create – which hasn’t been a lot. England have also been rock solid at the back though; they have one of the best defensive xG figures. The reality is England games have been pretty boring so far, and I can see that continuing here. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.99 and I really felt this would be shorter when clicking into the market – I feel we’re getting a lot of value here and I’m happy with a confident bet.
The Ultra Says:
Four points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.99 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

DENMARK V SERBIA
8pm We finish Tuesday with Denmark v Serbia in Group C. As I said above, we have a very competitive situation in Group C – as things stands, Denmark are in second with two points while Serbia are siting bottom with one point. Given England are top with only four points, there’s still a huge amount to play for. By the time this game kicks off, Groups A, B and D will have played so Denmark for example will know if three points will be good enough for a third-placed spot in the Last 16 – obviously they are aiming to win of course but it’s a factor. For Serbia, the task is pretty simple – they will need to win. With that in mind, I would expect a reasonably open game. They created very little against England in their opening game, but they were better going forward against Slovenia – however they had to wait until the 95th minute to find he equaliser! Denmark played out a boring and even 1-1 draw with England, but they would have been gutted with the draw against Slovenia in their first game. They finished with an xG created of over 2.0 so they should have won, they just didn’t take their chances.
Serbia having to go for the win might suit Denmark, especially the midfield. Denmark come into the game as the favourites at 2.28 with Serbia 3.35 and the draw is 3.7 at the time of writing. I was surprised to see Denmark trading as big as 2.28 when I clicked into the market; obviously they have struggled to win their games but Serbia have been very average so far in my opinion. They were handed the easiest qualifying Group; finishing four points behind Hungary with Montenegro, Lithuania and Bulgaria behind them. They haven’t created much at all in their two games so far, and Denmark are a much more classy side. Obviously the worry with Denmark here is they haven’t taken their chances, even the limited ones against England. However, I feel we’re getting so much value here at 2.28 to beat an average Serbia side that I’m happy with a Five Star NAP at the odds – the Denmark win looks a cracking position in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
Five points win Denmark to beat Serbia at 2.28 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
