EURO 2024: The Ultra previews Wednesday’s 8pm games between CZECH REPUBLIC v TURKEY and GEORGIA v PORTUGAL both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
CZECH REPUBLIC V TURKEY
8pm We move to Group F for the later games and so far this Group has been all about Portugal. They absolutely played Turkey off the park in the second matchday of this Group, but Turkey are still in a good position to go through as they face Czech Republic. We have a very open betting heat with Czech Republic coming into the game as favourites at 2.62 with Turkey 2.92 and the draw is 3.6 at the time of writing on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. Based on results, you might be surprised to see Czech Republic trading as favourites here; I know Turkey got well beaten against Portugal but there’s no shame in that – they are one of the big sides in the tournament after all. Turkey have been very entertaining to watch; However the market knows they are a poor side at the back and Czech Republic will get plenty of chances here. Czech Republic could argue that they were unlucky not to get a result against Portugal in their opening game – Portugal found the winning goal in the 92nd minute but they were the better team in fairness. A worrying result for Czech Republic was their draw against Georgia but they were exceptionally unlucky there. They created a host of chances; they finished the game with an xG created over 3.0!
That xG created figure for Czech Republic was one of the highest at Euro 2024 so far, and given Turkey have conceded a lot of goals and chances you just know Czech Republic are going to get plenty of chances to find the net. I have to say the 2.62 is a tempting bet; all the under-lining numbers point to a Czech Republic win here in my opinion. Turkey won’t sit back and play a cagey game however, so another option is Over 2.5 goals at 1.84. I feel this game absolutely screams goals – you could say it’s a worry that Czech Republic didn’t take their chances against Georgia but I can only see a very end-to-end game here. I couldn’t put anyone off the Czech Republic win here at the odds; I feel the 2.62 offers a lot of value. However, as I said above this game absolutely screams goals and the 1.84 on Overs offers the best value in this game – I haven’t had two Five Star NAP’s in one day on Euro 2024 yet but today is the day. Over 2.5 goals is a confident bet in what should be a very entertaining game.

GEORGIA V PORTUGAL
8pm We finish the Group stage of Euro 2024 with Georgia taking on Portugal in Group F. It’s been a case of so far so good for Portugal. They are certain of top spot and could possibly opt to rest some players here – that might be something to watch out for from a trading point of view when the team news comes out. From a Georgia point of view, the draw against Czech Republic has given them some hope for getting through – they face the massive task here of needing to win. Georgia have conceded two very high xG figures already, and now they face of the well fancied sides to win the tournament. It’s no surprise to see Portugal as the red-hot favourites heading into this one! Portugal are trading 1.41 with Georgia 8.6 and the draw is 5.4 at the time of writing. Portugal had to wait until the 92nd minute to find a winning goal against Czech Republic in their opening game, but their performance against Turkey was one of the most impressive in the tournament so far. They controlled the game and took their chances in impressive fashion. It feels like all roads lead to a Semi-Final clash with Spain.
Georgia have conceded xG figures of over 3.0 twice which is obviously a major worry coming into this game. As I said above, you might want to keep an eye on the team news here given Portugal are certain of top spot. However, it’s hard to see past a comfortable Portugal win here – especially with Georgia having to chase the game. I’m not going to go mad with stakes here because we might see some changes, however I feel Portugal can score a few goals on the way to winning. I couldn’t put anyone off the Portugal win at 1.41 – indeed that is a fantastic option for any Betdaq Multiple – however I’m going to go for a bigger price. Portugal are trading 2.1 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap and Any Other Away Win (Portugal to score four or more goals and win) is 5.0 in the Correct Score market. I actually like both bets, however the 2.1 on the handicap bet is a very nice option in my opinion. I would have this trading odds on.
