We should have a cracking game here, and as you’d expect with home advantage Bayern Munich come into the game as the favourites. They are trading odds on 1.64, with Bayer Leverkusen 5.1 and the draw is 5.0 at the time of writing. Bayern won this fixture last season 4-0, but Leverkusen have picked up two results (a win and a draw) from the last three meetings.
With the way these two have been playing this season, this game screams goals. The market is fully expecting goals too – Over 2.5 goals is trading as short as 1.34! There isn’t much value on offer in the goals market! Although both sides have been involved in some very high scoring games this season, and in general we usually see goals between these two; 62% of the times they have met have finished with Over 2.5 goals.
Bayer Leverkusen started their season with an excellent 3-2 win at home to RB Leipzig, but that was a pretty even game looking at the stats and since then they have had things their own way. While Bayern Munich didn’t score as many goals as Leverkusen did against Gladbach, they did fully control the game. Bayern have conceded some sloppy goals at the start of the season so Both Teams To Score is definitely an option worth considering at around 1.5, but I feel the best bet here in the Bayern win at 1.64. I know Leverkusen have started the season on fire, but Bayern are on the next level compared to Leverkusen especially with adding Harry Kane up front. I feel they should be a couple of ticks shorter than 1.64, and in what should be an entertaining game they can out score Leverkusen.
