FRIDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews BAYERN MUNICH v AUGSBURG and GETAFE v REAL VALLADOLID with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BAYERN MUNICH V AUGSBURG
7.30pm Domestic football returns on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with Friday night football from Europe! There’s been a lot of moaning about the three International breaks so early in the season – there’s only been ten matchdays in the Bundesliga – but now we have a clean run until March for things to heat up in title and relegation battles. We have our usual Friday night football slot of one fixture from the Bundesliga and one from La Liga – we kick off the night in the Bundesliga with one of the shortest prices of the weekend as Bayern Munich host Augsburg. Bayern Munich come into the game trading as short as 1.13 with Augsburg 25.0 and the draw is 12.5 at the time of writing. That 1.13 is the shortest price of Europe’s top leagues this weekend, and it’s fair to say anything bar a comfortable home win will be a massive shock here. Bayern will be a popular addition to any Acca this weekend, even if there’s isn’t much value in adding them given they are so short. We’ll have to look around the side markets here for some value, this game is about how many goals Bayern will score.
Bayern have been ticking the games off nicely in the Bundesliga, and they’ve built up a nice five point lead at the top of the table. More importantly, they are already nine points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen who took the title off them last season – I would say the Bundesliga title race is as good as over already to be honest – Bayern are losing it from here even this early in the season. Augsburg had a very poor start to the season, but only one loss from their last five games has seen them move up away from the bottom three. They have had massive issues at the back, they are conceding two goals a game on average, and although their xG figures aren’t that bad – that’s a bad record to bring to Bayern away! I fancy Bayern to cover the handicap here, but generally we see plenty of action when these sides meet. Both Teams To Score has won in the last four meetings, and Over 3.5 goals is landed in those games too. That’s trading 1.73 here and that looks a nice position to restart domestic football!
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 3.5 goals at 1.73 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

GETAFE V REAL VALLADOLID
8pm Next we move over to La Liga to finish Friday night as Getafe host Real Valladolid. La Liga are a little ahead of the Bundesliga above – they have played 13 matchdays with a few postponed fixtures along the way of course. These two sides haven’t missed a game, and this is already a massive relegation battle. Real Valladolid are currently sitting in the bottom three with nine points and while Getafe are only one point ahead of them, they are starting the weekend outside the relegation zone for the time being. Espanyol are between the two sides and Valencia are below them, but both of those sides have games in hand. Although this might be a reasonably low quality game between two average sides, with the stakes so high it should be an interesting affair. Getafe come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.76 with Real Valladolid 6.9 and the draw is 3.45 at the time of writing. Both sides have clearly had their issues this season – they are both in the bottom five on attacking figures and Real Valladolid have been very poor at the back too; they have the second worst defensive figure in La Liga this season.
Getafe have actually been brilliant at the back; the problem for them is going forward! Getafe have the best defensive figure in La Liga with an average xG conceded of just 0.90. They are the only side in La Liga this season with an average xG conceded under 1.0, which is impressive and with that kind of record at the back you’d have to fancy them to climb the table. However, they are really struggling to create chances and score goals – their games have been the lowest scoring in La Liga this season. Their average xG created at 1.18 isn’t great, but they are only converting roughly half of those chances too. It’s hard to back a side at odds on with that record up front, even if they face one of the worst sides in the league here – I wouldn’t be rushing to take the 1.76 on Getafe to be honest. Under 2.5 goals has collected in 12 of Getafe’s 13 games, and that’s trading 1.49 here – I feel that price still offers marginal value in what should be a very close and cagey game.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.49 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
