DORTMUND V BAYER LEVERKUSEN

7.30pm The Bundesliga is back on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have a cracking Friday night in store from Europe this week with Bundesliga and Serie A action. The Bundesliga is back with a bang as Dortmund host Bayer Leverkusen – both these sides have a little work to do after the Christmas break. Dortmund resume sitting down in sixth and they are already a long way away from the title race – their sole aim now has to be getting back into the Champions League spots, and they aren’t too far off that in fairness. Bayer Leverkusen would have been quietly fancied for back-to-back titles after Xabi Alonso decided to stay in charge – which was no mean feat considering Bayern Munich and Liverpool were looking for managers – however, a slow start leaves them four points behind Bayern Munich at the top of the table. They have found some momentum now though; they’ve won their last five games but you do feel like giving Bayern such an advantage at the start of the season will cost them. Remarkably they have dropped points against Holstein and Bochum this season – they both sit in the bottom two places with only six and eight points!

We should have a very entertaining game here – we have a very open betting heat too! Bayer Leverkusen are the favourites at 2.6 with Dortmund 2.82 and the draw is 3.8 at the time of writing. Dortmund’s under-lining numbers have been quite under-whelming this season. Their average xG created is only 1.39 which is a mid-table figure in the Bundesliga, and Leverkusen are much higher at 1.86. Both sides are in the top three defensive figures which explains why Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.64 and not a little shorter – both sides have been sloppy at the back however. They are both conceding over their xG conceded. I like two bets here – I couldn’t put anyone off the Over 2.5 goals option at 1.64 in what should be an end-to-end game, and I also like the Leverkusen back at 2.6. They have played much better football compared to Dortmund this season and I’d have them trading a little shorter. The Dortmund lay is also an option to have the draw on your side given Dortmund have had three draws from their last four Bundesliga games. On balance, we should have an entertaining game here and it’s hard to get away from Overs at the odds – I feel that offers the most value.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.64 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

LAZIO V COMO

7.45pm We move over to Serie A to finish Friday night as Lazio host Como. This is a game that Lazio will be expected to win given Como have come up from Serie B, but Cesc Fabregas has them playing some nice football this season. After struggling to create good quality chances for a while, Lazio have definitely improved up front this season and they come into this weekend sitting in fourth. Their goal has to be to hang onto that fourth position with the top three pulling away. We’re do have a little odd situation with games in hand in Serie A at the moment with the Italian Super Cup taking place last week in Saudi Arabia. Lazio have played two more games compared to Inter Milan above them for example. Lazio come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.88 with Como 4.9 and the draw is 3.7 at the time of writing. Como were always likely to be involved in the relegation zone this season after coming up from Serie B, and they are under immense pressure just one point away from the bottom three. That win over Lecce just before New Year was massive!

I’m actually pretty confident Como will stay up – they are playing much better than their results reflect. Remarkably, Como have the fifth best attacking figure in Serie A this season – just behind Lazio in fourth. Not only that, Como have an average xG conceded of just 1.22 this season which is a very respectable figure. So, why are they are in the relegation fight at the moment? They are under-performing massively up front and at the back! They haven’t been taking their chances, and they have been especially sloppy at the back – it’s hard to trust them from that point of view, but I wouldn’t be rushing to take the 1.88 on Lazio here despite them playing some very nice football this season. Lazio have been sloppy at the back as well; they are in the top five on defensive figures but they are conceding well over that. Both Teams To Score is odds against, which is a little surprising given both sides have been so sloppy, and I feel that’s worth a small investment.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 2.03 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
