BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between AUGSBURG V GLADBACH and LEVANTE V VALENCIA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
AUGSBURG V GLADBACH
7.30pm Friday night football in Europe comes from the Bundesliga and La Liga! We start with Augsburg hosting Gladbach and with Gladbach in poor form this is an excellent chance for Ausgburg to get some points. Ausgburg have a bit of comfort on the bottom three but it’s still only seven points and a win here would put their worries to bed. Gladbach have lost their last five games in all competitions and that was after a boring 0-0 draw against Wolfsburg. Looking at their xG figures their problems are mainly going forward – they just aren’t creating enough chances. Even against Mainz, who are in the relegation zone, they only managed to create an xG of 0.73. I know Augsburg are very limited, but this is an ideal time to play Gladbach.
I feel this isn’t a game for big stakes given Augsburg’s level this season, while I’m keen to lay Gladbach at a shade of odds on I feel the value is with under 2.5 goals at 1.99. Augsburg have had a reasonably tough run of fixtures lately, and I have to say their xG conceded figures are a big worry but Gladbach have been so poor going forward I think they might get away with that tonight. The Gladbach lay and under 2.5 goals are more or less the same price and I much prefer the under 2.5 goals option. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 0-0 here either but unders looks the call.
The Ultra Says:

LEVANTE V VALENCIA
8pm Next we move to La Liga ahead of a cracking weekend with all football bets 0% commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange tomorrow. This should be a pretty close game with two very similar sides. They are sitting beside each other in the table in 11th and 12th after getting themselves away from the danger zone in recent weeks. There’s a lot of clubs in the mix to go down in La Liga this season but thankfully Levante and Valencia won’t be included. Valencia came out on the right side of an open game with Villarreal last week while Levante lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad in one of the most remarkable xG results all season. They conceded an xG of 5.67! They were clearly very lucky to only concede one goal and that has to be a worry going into tonight’s game.
Levante got two good results against Atletico Madrid recently that would have got some headlines because of Atletico’s position at the top of the table but they didn’t deserve their points. When they beat Atletico 2-0, they actually conceded an xG of 2.84 and were very lucky to win. It’s all about the odds here and I can’t have Levante at 2.3 tonight – that has to be a lay. I know Valencia are quite limited and have had a lot of change this season but I expect a close game here and 2.3 isn’t reflective of how close the sides should be in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Levante to beat Valencia at 2.3 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
