BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between KOLN V GREUTHER FURTH and ATHLETIC BILBAO V ALAVES both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
KOLN V GREUTHER FURTH
7.30pm We’re back to our usual one game in the Bundesliga and one game in La Liga for Friday night football on BETDAQ Betting Exchange after a hectic week in the Champions League and Europa League! We kick the evening off from the Bundesliga with Koln hosting new boys Greuther Furth. It’s been a very tough start to life in the Bundesliga for Greuther Furth and it already seems certain they will go back down. I know that’s easy to say after losing five of their opening six games and being nailed to the bottom of the table, but the underlining numbers from their performances have been very poor. They are conceding chances for fun and you just can’t do that in the Bundesliga. In fairness to them, they should have beaten Arminia Bielefeld who will also be involved in the relegation battle this season, but for example they conceded an xG of 4.76 v Stuttgart and 3.09 v Mainz, they are giving away chances for fun.
Koln come into this game off the back of three draws in a row, but they have been playing good football this season. They start the weekend round of fixtures in seventh and have only lost one of their opening six games, which came against Bayern Munich. Koln always like to play an open game, but to their credit they do create a lot of chances. They always tend to run into problems at the back, but that’s the risk you take when you play such an open game. Given how many chances Greuther Furth have conceded this season and how little they have created in front of goal, they are unlikely to take advantage of Koln being open here. I can only see one winner and Koln are a confident bet at 1.53.
The Ultra Says:
Four points win Koln to beat Greuther Furth at 1.53 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ATHLETIC BILBAO V ALAVES
8pm Next we move over to La Liga where Athletic Bilbao host Alaves. I think it’s fair to say now many football fans were expecting Alaves to win their first game of the season last weekend against Atletico Madrid – that came from nowhere and they will be hoping to kick on after that confidence boost. They still start the weekend round of fixtures in 19th position having lost their opening five games, but that was a complete bonus three points and given so many teams have started on the backfoot in La Liga, another win could actually put them in 14th should other fixtures go their way. It looks like it will be another exciting relegation battle at the bottom of La Liga this season doesn’t it!
Athletic Bilbao come into this fixture without a win in their last three, they also took points off Atletico Madrid with a 0-0 draw, then lost at home to Rayo Vallecano and drew 1-1 with Valencia. They were very even games looking at the xG figures and I don’t think they can complain about their recent results. They also took a point off Barcelona towards the start of the season and actually could have won that game, it finished 1-1 but they created an xG of 1.93. Both sides have had very tight games this season and Athletic Bilbao look the right price here at 1.66 – I don’t see much value in that price, but they should win. I like under 2.5 goals here at around 1.7. Neither side are banging in goals for fun and unders had landed in a lot of both sides recent games. This could be a very quiet game.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.7 with BETDAQ Exchange.
