BUNDESLIGA PREVIEW: The Ultra previews GLADBACH v RB LEIPZIG with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
GLADBACH V RB LEIPZIG
7.30pm Friday Night Football comes from the Bundesliga on Betdaq Betting Exchange this week! Gladbach host RB Leipzig in what should be a very interesting game and market – it’s quite easy to pick holes in both of these sides. RB Leipzig come into the game as the favourites at 2.2 with Gladbach 3.25 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. RB Leipzig come into the weekend sitting in second place six points behind Bayern Munich, but their under-lining numbers tell a very different story.
On the face of things, sitting in second place is a very positive start to the season. An average xG conceded of 1.51 is very high though; so far they have got away with things at the back – sides just haven’t been taking their chances against them. Up front, they haven’t had any issues – an average xG created of 1.75 in the third best attacking figure in the Bundesliga. They are also over-performing that figure, but the big question here is can Gladbach take advantage of the RB Leipzig issues at the back?
Gladbach come into this game with momentum at least given they have won their last three games. They had a terrible start to the season going eight games without a win – two of their three wins came against sides sitting in the bottom three at the moment too, so let’s not get carried away with their recent run. Gladbach have the fifth worst attacking figure in the Bundesliga this season, but I would suggest that’s not even their main issue. Their average xG conceded is 1.69 which is very high, again in the bottom five defensive figures.
Gladbach are a side you want to be against this season in my opinion, and obviously RB Leipzig have their issues at the back – however, they are creating a lot going forward and obviously Gladbach are leaking chances for fun. The 2.2 on Leipzig is a tempting bet. This game also screams goals, and the market is expecting goals with Over 2.5 goals trading 1.47. I couldn’t put anyone off that bet given all the mistakes these two make at the back, but the value call is the 2.2 on Leipzig in my opinion. It’s a confident bet to start the weekend.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win RB Leipzig to beat Gladbach at 2.2 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
