SERIE A FRIDAY: The Ultra previews INTER MILAN v PISA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm Friday Night Football comes from Serie A this week on Betdaq Betting Exchange! Inter Milan host Pisa in a game that the league leaders will be fully expected to win. Inter were involved in midweek action in the Champions League with a 3-1 loss here against Arsenal, but Inter are in a very strong position in Serie A. They come into this matchday with a three point advantage and their performance levels have been exceptionally strong. Pisa have been struggling at the opposite end of the table – they currently sit in the relegation zone with just one win all season.
With the huge gulf in class between the sides, it’s no surprise that Inter come into the game as the red-hot odds on favourites. Inter Milan are trading 1.19 with Pisa 21.0 and the draw 8.4 at the time of writing. Pisa have themselves in a very difficult position – they sit in 19th and are currently three points behind Fiorentina and Lecce; obviously you’d expect Fiorentina to move away from the relegation zone given the size of the club so the writing seems on the wall for Pisa.
There aren’t many positives in their under-lining numbers either. Their average xG created is only 1.12 which is the fourth worst attacking figure in Serie A this season – compare that to Inters attacking figure at 1.93, which is the best in Italy this season. Pisa are also have the second worst defensive figure in Serie A with an average xG conceded of 1.64 – again compare that to Inter at 0.96 which is the best defensive figure in Serie A this season. The only side with an average xG conceded sub 1.0 which is obviously impressive.
I feel this game is going to be about how many goals can Inter score rather than will they actually win – obviously there’s no prizes for tipping 1.19 shots so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value here. Obviously the goal and handicap markets are the best place to go – Both Teams Not To Score is trading 1.58 which is effectively an Inter clean sheet and given how limited Pisa have been in attacking, that looks a shade of value. Inter are also trading at the same price to cover the 1.5 goal and that looks very nice value too. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, but I marginally prefer the handicap option. I’m happy with a confident bet to start the weekend.
