JUVENTUS V AC MILAN

7pm We have a cracking Friday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE this week! The Italian Super Cup continues from Saudi Arabia, and we also have La Liga action as Real Madrid play their game in hand away to Valencia. We kick off the evening with the second Semi-Final of the Italian Super Cup between Juventus and AC Milan. This is the second season that it’s become a four team competition – we all know that’s been driven by money decisions but here we are! Inter Milan and Atalanta were in the first Semi-Final, and they have been the best two sides in Serie A this season – it’s a different story for Juventus and AC Milan however! AC Milan have really struggled this season, and they sit in mid-table in Serie A. Juventus are the only side to remain unbeaten in Serie A but that stat doesn’t tell the full story – their backers haven’t been having a good time of things with eleven draws from 18 games. We have an open market here with Juventus the favourites at 2.48 while AC Milan are trading 3.35 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing.

You’d have to say that this is the weaker side of the draw and whoever wins this will be the outsider in the Final on Monday. However, you’d also have to say that both of these sides desperately need something good to happen this season. It’s always interesting to see the motivation levels when a tournament like this is moved to Saudi Arabia. While both sides have struggled for results, there have been some positives. Juventus have the best defensive figure in Serie A this season; an average xG conceded of 0.93 shows how solid they have been at the back – obviously they’ve been tough to beat too given their record. AC Milan have the third best attacking figure in Serie A, but that just hasn’t translated into results. Really and truly, it’s hard to have confidence in either side here – if this was a Serie A game you’d fancy Under 2.5 goals for a confident bet. Given the situation and where the tournament is, I’m happy to keep stakes small – I still feel that Unders is a nice option at 1.67.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 1.67 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

VALENCIA V REAL MADRID

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Friday night football from Europe as Valencia host Real Madrid. This game was postponed a while ago due to floods, and while it’s not a ‘game in hand’ compared to a lot of the table, it is a game in hand for Real Madrid compared to Barcelona. It’s a Copa del Rey weekend in Spain, so this is a chance for Real Madrid to go top with a win. As things stand, they are one point behind Atletico Madrid who have actually played the same amount of games as Real Madrid. A poor run for Barcelona though has definitely put them on the back foot – after back-to-back losses against Leganes and Atletico Madrid before Christmas leaves Barcelona two points behind Real Madrid and three behind Atletico Madrid. At the start of November, it looked like Barcelona were running away with the title but one win from their last seven La Liga games means the Madrid clubs have the advantage. This is a game that Real will be fully expected to win and five points over Barcelona will be quite the gap at this stage of the season. Real Madrid are trading 1.41 with Valencia 9.4 and the draw is 5.2 at the time of writing.

Valencia have been really struggling this season, and they spent Christmas sitting in the relegation zone which is never nice. They have a game in hand on the sides around them, but given that the fixture is Real Madrid it might not be worth much! Valencia have been dealt huge blows in recent weeks with a loss to Real Valladolid and a draw against Espanyol – the two sides in the relegation zone with them. It’s definitely a time for Valencia to hit the panic button; they’ve actually been very good at the back on paper but they’ve also been exceptionally sloppy. An average xG conceded of 1.11 is in the top five defensive figures but they are conceding way over that. That stat would make you consider Under 2.5 goals, but the reality is they have been so sloppy at the back it’s hard to trust them. Valencia have been very poor going forward, and I’m happy with Both Teams Not To Score at 1.84 – Real should control this game and Valencia won’t see much of the ball. I like Both Teams Not To Score compared to Under 2.5 goals!

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.84 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
