7.30pm Friday Night Football comes from the Bundesliga as Freiburg host Gladbach in what should be a good game. We landed a decent bet with Gladbach winning at the weekend and I expect them to win again tonight. The Bundesliga table doesn’t tell the full story with Freiburg and their xG puts them a lot lower than the current standings. Gladbach look very good value here at 1.85 with BETDAQ Exchange.
Gladbach are coming into this game off the back of an easy 4-1 win over Union Berlin and have performed reasonably away from home this season. They have only won 7 of 14 games, but impressively they have only conceded 15 (although the xG was 18, still impressive). Freiburg have had problems scoring at home, only netting 16 in 14 games and I’m surprised over 2.5 goals is as short as it is at around 1.7. Both sides have been showing very close to 3 goals on average this season however (Freiburg home games, Gladbach away games).
The big difference for me here is the Gladbach scoring ability and also how solid at the back they have been. They are sitting in 4th, and xG puts them there too. Freiburg slip down to 14th from 8th on xG and Gladback will outclass this Freiburg side if they both perform to their usual level. The 1.85 on the away win is too big and looks very good value to start the weekend.
