FRIDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews Friday’s matches between SPEZIA v INTER MILAN and REAL SOCIEDAD v REAL BETIS – both including a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SPEZIA V INTER MILAN
6pm It’s been anther fantastic week in Europe on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with the Champions League and Europa League Quarter-Finals, but we kick off the domestic action again on Friday night! We have some crackers tonight in Serie A and La Liga, and we start over in Serie A where Inter Milan can go top again. It was a very productive weekend last week for Inter as they beat Verona 2-0 in a very smooth performance while AC Milan were only able to draw and Napoli lost. All that means Inter sit two points behind AC Milan now and they have moved into second but they are level on points with Napoli. Most importantly of all though Inter have a game in hand which will obviously put them top should they win it. It’s been a brilliant title race in Italy this season, probably the most interesting title race outside of the Premier League with Bayern Munich winning the Bundesliga and Real Madrid winning La Liga so easily. Hopefully we take it down to the final day here, but if the drama this season in Italy is anything to go by we’re definitely heading to the final day!
This is undoubtedly what you would call a “must win” game for Inter, just purely because they can’t afford to be dropping points against a side sitting in 15th. Spezia don’t have to worry about a relegation fight because they are 11 points away from the bottom three, but they are still a very average side that Inter should be beating easily. The market agrees with that statement, with the away win trading as short as 1.33 at the time of writing. Inter were very lucky to pick up three points away to Juventus recently – that was an absolutely huge result for them – but apart from that result they haven’t been playing too badly. They clearly aren’t as good as they were last season but that’s been obvious for a while. Spezia have been conceding on average close to two goals per game in Serie A this season, and when you are only scoring one goal on average per game that’s going to give you a lot of problems. Inter have the opposite stats as they are creating over two goals per game and only conceding 0.8 on average. I feel Inter will cover the handicap here given the amount of chances Spezia concede, and the 1.92 -1.5 goals is worth taking.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Inter Milan -1.5 goals to beat Spezia at 1.92 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL SOCIEDAD V REAL BETIS
8pm Next we move to La Liga to finish the night as Real Sociedad host Real Betis. This is a huge game for both sides in the race for a European spot, and both are still chasing that fourth spot too! I said above that last weekend was brilliant for Inter Milan, well it was also a brilliant weekend for Real Betis as they won 2-1 over Cadiz while Atletico Madrid suffered a shock defeat to Mallorca. Just when Real Betis were losing ground and really going in the wrong direction in the top four race, they have been gifted a lifeline to come back into the race. They are only one point behind Atletico Madrid now and everything is to play for – Real Sociedad will also have something to say about that however. They sit only two points behind Real Betis, and a win here would see them match Atletico Madrid on 57 points for the time being. In all likelihood, it would be a surprise if Atletico dropped out of the top four again but you can see just how important this game is for both these sides. Real Betis have really bounced back well after their wobble a few weeks ago – they have got their heads down and got back into the race, while Real Sociedad may not have been playing the best football they have also been keeping their heads down and grinding out results. I can only see a very close and hard fought game here!
I expected to see a very open market, and I was surprised when I clicked in to see Real Sociedad trading as short as 2.2. I know they have a very solid home record this season, but Real Betis have been fantastic away from home this season – if you take the away form table on its own Real Betis move into third. They’ve managed just one point less than Barcelona having played one less game. In general, Betis have been excellent this season and they are deserving of being in the top four battle. While I’m not fully expecting to see an away win here, I do feel that they can get a result – the 2.2 lay on Sociedad is a very appealing play. Having the Betis win and the draw on our side is very nice position to be in, especially when we’re going to have a very close game here! I feel we’re getting a huge amount of value here and I believe the market is wrong so I’m happy to have a Max Lay.
The Ultra Says:
Five points lay (liability) Real Sociedad to beat Real Betis at 2.2 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
