DENMARK V SCOTLAND

7.45pm The World Cup Qualifiers continue on Betdaq Betting Exchange as we begin Group C on Friday night. This is another Group that hasn’t had a ball kicked yet with just four teams – Denmark, Scotland, Greece and Belarus. This should be a very competitive Group because although Denmark will be expected to top it, they are hardly bombproof. Greece and Scotland should be very competitive for the second spot with a slight chance of topping the Group for them too, while you’d expect Belarus to finish bottom. As we kick things off with Denmark hosting Scotland, it will be fascinating to see how this game goes.

Given they have home advantage, it’s not a surprise to see Denmark come into as the odds on favourites. The home win is 1.6 with Scotland 6.8 and the draw is 4.2 at the time of writing. Denmark were involved in the Nations League Quarter-Finals, but after winning here they lost to Portugal away from home. They finished a long way behind Spain in their Group – they only managed eight points from six games in a Group with Spain dominating. Scotland struggled in an A Group for the first time – but that was to be expected to be honest. Much like Wales a while back – they are going to top a B Group and then get relegated from an A Group.

They did finished ahead of Poland however; possibly a sign of how far Poland have dropped in recent years. Scotland then lost to Greece in the League A v League B playoffs; a sign that they have their hands full in the battle for second here! Scotland did fantastically well in Euro 2024 qualifying behind Spain, while Denmark have been ultra-consistent really. It’s hard to argue with the odds here in my opinion. Denmark feel the right price at 1.6 – it’s hard to make the argument that they should be massively shorter or bigger so I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market.

A draw would be a brilliant result for Scotland here, and I can see them approaching the game with that in mind. They kept Spain down to two goals in Euro 2024 qualifying, which is no mean feat. They held Portugal to 0-0 in the last Nations League; albeit they had home advantage there. I have to say, I was surprised to see Under 2.5 goals trading as high as 1.96 when I clicked into the market. I know we have a lot of quality between the two sides, but I do feel Unders is the value here at the odds.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 1.96 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
