ALAVES V VALENCIA

8pm It’s the start of a massive week from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange! It might not be the most glamorous game of the week with the Champions League and the Europa League returning, but we kick it off in La Liga as Alaves host Valencia. These two sides are your classic mid-to-low table La Liga level, and to be honest it would be a surprise if the sides didn’t finish there again this season. Alaves come into the game as the favourites at 2.34 with Valencia 3.75 and the draw is 3.2 at the time of writing.

It’s hard to argue with Alaves being the favourites here – they have been playing the more solid football compared to Valencia; it’s no surprise they have more points. Alaves have a mid-table attacking figure with an average xG created of 1.3, while Valencia are a little lower than that at 1.17. That’s actually a pretty poor figure to be honest, but the major red flag for Valencia this season has been at the back. Their average xG conceded is 1.59 which is a lot higher compared to their attacking figure, and that’s the fifth worst defensive figure in La Liga this season.

Alaves have actually been much more impressive at the back – they are sitting just inside the top five on defensive figures. Outside of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao they have the best defensive figure which is no mean feat to be honest. Alaves have good good injury news coming into this fixture too – Moussa Diarra is back in full training, as is Calebe and Toni Matinez should be available too.

I know we have two pretty average sides here, but when you compare how they have been playing, I feel the 2.34 on Alaves looks cracking value here. They tick a lot of boxes – they have been better going forward and at the back, and home advantage tends to be a massive factor in these types of games too. They also have a decent home record against Valencia, and Valencia are missing some key players at the back. The 2.34 is a confident bet on Alaves.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Alaves to beat Valencia at 2.34 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
