MONDAY LA LIGA: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s two La Liga games with recommended BETDAQ bets. It’s GETAFE V SEVILLA at 7pm and OSASUNA V CELTA VIGO at 9pm.

GETAFE V SEVILLA

7pm We have a fascinating Monday night in La Liga with two very interesting markets on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We have two reasonably open markets, with a very open market later and Sevilla the big favourites of the night in the early kick off however they are still 2.3+. Sevilla were very impressive on the opening weekend with a 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano. They finished the game with an xG of 3.35 to 0.53 in a totally dominant display. It must be remember though that Rayo Vallecano only finished sixth in the Segunda Division last season but came through the Playoffs – they are pretty likely to go straight back down given the quality of their side, but then again they fought hard to make it through those Playoffs so you never know! Getafe lost a very close game with Valencia – it was nice to land out bet on Valencia but there wasn’t much between the sides.

Sevilla should really be winning this game. Getafe were close to being involved in a relegation battle last season. They ended up in 15th after losing their final three game – probably eased off once they knew they were safe. Although they deserved a draw last weekend against Valencia, I can’t resist the 2.34 on Sevilla here. Sevilla have won the last four meetings between the sides and the 2.3 is simply too big to turn down. Sevilla can sometimes start slow, get to HT at 0-0 and take the advantage in the second half so you might be able to get bigger odds if you wait until in-running but the 2.34 is big enough for me to back them from the start.

OSASUNA V CELTA VIGO

9pm We finish Monday night with Osasuna hosting Celta Vigo in what should be a very close game. The market has the same view too as we have an extremely open market – Osasuna are marginal favourites at 2.8 but all three outcomes aren’t far away from 3.0. Either side won on the opening weekend so both will be hoping to open their account here. Osasuna played out a reasonably boring 0-0 draw at home to Espanyol but Celta Vigo were slightly unfortunate to lose to Atletico Madrid. Although Atletico Madrid won 2-1, Celta Vigo finished the game with a higher xG as the game finished 2.17 to 1.73. It was a pretty open game with plenty of good chances, but to create an xG over 2.0 against Atletico was very positive.

Although we have an open market here and while I do slightly agree with the market in the sense that we should have a very close game, I make Celta Vigo the value here. I would have them trading as marginal favourites instead of Osasuna, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the odds swapped around leading up to kick off. Obviously with fans back this season, home advantage does come back into things but Celta Vigo impressed me on the opening weekend against Atletico while Osasuna were quite boring. Celta Vigo create enough to win the game here for me.
