7.45pm Monday night football on Betdaq Betting Exchange, comes from Serie A this week! The Champions Napoli host Pisa in a game that the hosts will be fully expected to win. The gulf in class between the sides here is massive, and it’s no surprise to see Napoli come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Napoli are trading 1.3 with Pisa 13.5 and the draw is 6.0 at the time of writing.
We’ve have seen time and time again over the past few seasons that it’s exceptionally difficult to stay in the top flight in any major European league now with the amount of money available at the top level. After finishing second in Serie B last season, Pisa were always going to have a massive task at hand this season. They come into this game already sitting in the relegation zone with one point of their opening three games. Napoli meanwhile have been ticking off the games nicely; three wins from three games has been smooth sailing for Conte’s men.
It’s very difficult to see past the Napoli win here. At 1.3, we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value but I’d happily include Napoli in any Acca this week. Napoli lost away to Manchester City in the Champions League last week, but the performance levels between these sides are huge. I feel this one is going to be about how many goals can Napoli score rather than will they win. They have an average xG created of 1.76 compared to Pisa at 1.02 which is the third worst attacking figure in Serie A.
Pisa have also been leaking chances for fun at the moment. Their average xG conceded is 1.69 which is in the bottom three defensive figures too. Obviously there are a lot of red flags for Pisa already. They have had to play Atalanta and Roma already though, so let’s not be overly negative – it’s still very early days in the season too. I do feel Napoli will win this one easily however, and they are trading 1.96 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap which looks cracking value given the chances Pisa are conceding. Another option might be Both Teams Not To Score – effectively a Napoli clean sheet – but I feel the handicap offers a lot of value.
