NETHERLANDS V ITALY

7.45pm We have another excellent night ahead in the Nations League! Netherlands v Italy is definitely the highlight tonight, both sides have suffered disappointment when it comes to qualifying for major tournament in recent years but it seems that they are on the upgrade now again. Italy won all ten of their (now) Euro 2021 qualifying group games, although you could say they had a weak group, while Netherlands finished second behind Germany. Netherlands also managed to top their Nations League Group in 2019 with France and Germany.

This should be a high quality game. Italy started their Nations League campaign on a poor note with a 1-1 draw at home to Bosnia and Herzegovina – they should be winning home games like that. That’s opened the door for the Netherlands to top the group and they started with a 1-0 win at home to Poland. Both sides should improve for the games as we have clearly had players not at peak fitness. Under 2.5 goals is very tempting at around the 1.8 mark as is the Netherlands win at 2.4. On balance I’m just going to side with under 2.5 goals as I expect a very close game.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 1.8 with BETDAQ Exchange.

NORTHERN IRELAND V NORWAY

7.45pm Northern Ireland would have been very happy with a draw away to Romania to start their Nations League campaign. They were a man, and a goal, down for most of the game but the dug in and managed to get a result. They will need to dig in again tonight as Norway are a top quality side. The behind closed doors element is obviously a disadvantage for Northern Ireland here given their excellent support and they have an impressive record at home.

Norway topped their Nations League Group in 2019, and although it was in League C and Northern Ireland were in League B – Northern Ireland lost every game. Norway, like Northern Ireland, also find themselves in a Playoff for Euro 2021. The draw jumps out at me for this one is what should be a pretty close game. That isn’t much between the sides, Norway are rightly favourites but Northern Ireland always battle hard and you can easily see another 1-1 draw. At 3.1 the draw is worth a small investment.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.1.

CZECH REPUBLIC V SCOTLAND

7.45pm You get a shock when you first click into the market here and see the prices! Scotland are 1.8 to beat the Czech Republic away from home, after failing to beat Israel at home on Friday night and starting 1.91 for that! Before you smash the lay button let’s look at the reasons why Scotland are odds on. The Czech Republic have had positive tests for Coronavirus in the Camp, and they are going to change their whole squad for this fixture. To be honest, who knows what sort of team we will see.

There were efforts made to call off the fixture, but Czech Republic would face sanctions for failing to fulfil the fixture so we’re left with this situation. It’s desperately unfortunate for Czech Republic, but Scotland will be delighted with the chance to claim an unexpected three points here. They need it too after a poor start. We landed our odds on lay with them on Friday night and it is very tempting to lay them again at 1.8 here given they are limited and that’s a short price. In an ordinary world, Czech Republic would have been odds on. As it stands, I think it’s very difficult to bet on this one without seeing the teams and knowing what to expect. Both Teams To Score catches my eye at 1.96, but I can’t recommend a bet here.
