RAYO VALLECANO V VALENCIA

8pm We kick off a hectic week of football on Betdaq Betting Exchange with Monday Night Football from Europe! We have a very busy week ahead – a full Premier League fixture list and plenty of football from around Europe. While this might not be the most glamorous start as Rayo Vallecano host Valencia, it is an interesting market. Rayo Vallecano come into the game as the favourites at 2.04 with Valencia 4.4 and the draw is 3.45 at the time of writing.

While Rayo Vallecano sit in mid-table in La Liga, this is a very tough place to come. They have held Barcelona and Real Madrid to draws here this season – indeed they’ve only lost once at home this season, 1-0 to Sevilla in a game where Rayo Vallecano finished with an xG of 2.02 against Sevilla at just 0.52 so that was unlucky. It’s no surprise that they are the strong favourites here; perhaps the surprise is that they aren’t odds on against a pretty average Valencia side.

Valencia aren’t the force of old, and it looks like they might be in the relegation battle this season. They come into the matchday just two points outside the relegation zone, but in fairness it feels like the relegation race will be wide open in La Liga this season. There are a number of red flags in the Valencia performance levels – they only have an average xG created of 1.15 which is the joint-fourth worst attacking figure in La Liga this season. They’ve even struggled to convert those limited chances, scoring less than a goal a game on average.

It’s not pretty at the other end of the pitch for Valencia either – they are in the bottom five on defensive figures and away from home they are conceding an average xG of 1.97. As the saying goes, you don’t win many games conceding two goals! They have yet to win an away La Liga game this season – they have managed six draws from their six games, but given how solid Rayo Vallecano have been at home I feel it’s hard to get away from the 2.04 on the home win here. Obviously this is a game for limited stakes; Rayo Vallecano are no world beaters but they can get the job done here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Rayo Vallecano to beat Valencia at 2.04 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
