REAL MADRID V GETAFE

8pm Monday Night Football on Betdaq Betting Exchange this week comes from La Liga! We have a cracker too as Real Madrid host Getafe at the Bernebau! It’s the start of another massive week of football; midweek action from the Premier League and around Europe too. On paper, most football fans will be expecting a comfortable home win here, and it’s no surprise that Real Madrid come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Real Madrid are trading 1.32 with Getafe 12.0 and the draw is 5.8 at the time of writing.
There’s no getting away from the fact that this is a must win game for Real Madrid in the title race. Last weekend, they were stunned by Osasuna 2-1 in a massive blow. Obviously we know that this title race will go all the way with Barcelona, but now Real have given away the edge again for the time being. Real Madrid now sit one point behind Barcelona. They can’t afford to drop points at home against sides like Getafe now. It’s hard to see past a win for Real here, and obviously there’s no prizes for tipping 1.32 shots, so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value.

Obviously Real have had their fair share of drama already this season. The players pushed Xabi Alonso out the door, and seem a happier bunch since. Their under-lining numbers are very impressive, even if a little behind Barcelona. Their average xG created of 2.13 is the second best attacking figure in La Liga – only Barcelona’s 2.28 is ahead of them. Their average xG conceded of 1.14 is the second best defensive figure too. Getafe are at the other end of the xG table – their average xG created of just 1.10 is the joint-worst attacking figure in La Liga. The reason why they aren’t in the relegation zone however is their defensive figure – their average xG conceded of 1.23 is more respectable and helps explain how they have managed to accumulate 29 points despite scoring so little.

That’s actually the fifth best defensive figure in La Liga this season, and we know Getafe will come here to defend. They could easily frustrate this Real side too – the gulf in attacking quality is absolutely enormous – but they aren’t far away at the back. We know Getafe will set up to be very negative, and they will actually offer very little in attack here. Both Teams Not To Score – effectively a Real Madrid clean sheet – is trading 1.63 and that looks an appealing price. It’s hard to be confident on Real covering a handicap here given how strong Getafe have been at the back, and I feel Both Teams Not To Score offers the best value.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.63 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
