TORINO V VERONA

5.30pm It’s the start of another massive week around Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We might not have the most glamorous fixtures from Serie A and La Liga for Monday night football, but it’s set to be a brilliant week with the Champions League and Europa League back. We start the evening in Serie A as Torino host Verona – with Verona really struggling last season, Torino will be expecting to win this game with home advantage. They are trading odds on at the time of writing too – the home win is 1.89 with Verona 5.1 and the draw is 3.55. Verona were involved in the relegation playoff game last season which Serie A brought in, and they’ll likely be in the relegation battle again this season. They started the season with two brilliant wins, but they haven’t been able to follow that up. You have to say that they were lucky to beat Roma too, and the Verona performance level has been quite poor. Before thinking it’s full steam ahead on Torino here, it’s worth noting the Torino performance level has been very average too.

After the midweek fixtures, both sides were sitting in the bottom four for chances created. Torino’s average xG is just 1.03 this season, and Verona’s is only 0.82 – they are only one of three sides with an average xG of under 1.0 after the midweek fixture list. Torino have been more solid at the back, and that could easily be the difference here. That being said, it’s not like Verona have been conceding chances for fun – their average xG conceded is 1.4, once you start seeing figures close to 2.0 it gets worrying but when I look at this game I just see a very close and cagey fixture. I wouldn’t be rushing to back Torino at odds on to be honest, but Verona haven’t done much to warrant support in the market. Under 2.5 goals jumps off the page here at 1.61. I’d have Unders trading closer to 1.5 and I can’t see many chances here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.61 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

LAS PALMAS V CELTA VIGO

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Monday night football in Europe as Las Palmas host Celta Vigo. It’s still so early in the season, but this fixture already had a relegation battle feel to it. Both sides have only managed five points after seven games, and they are both sitting in the bottom four. Las Palmas are just outside the relegation zone, with Celta Vigo sitting in it. With Las Palmas coming up from the Segunda, their sole aim this season is going to be staying in La Liga, while Celta Vigo were involved in the relegation battle in La Liga last season, and they’ll likely be involved again. They should be good enough to stay up, but you’d imagine there will be a few bumps in the road along the way. With Las Palmas having home advantage, we have an exceptionally open betting heat. Las Palmas are the favourites at the time of writing, they are 2.8 while Celta Vigo are 2.96 and the draw is 3.2. It’s hard to see anything bar a very close game here, but I was surprised to see Las Palmas trading as the favourites when I clicked into the market.

I know Celta Vigo are a pretty average and limited side, but they are playing at a better level than Las Palmas. At the moment, Las Palmas are creating the lowest average xG figure in La Liga. They have only been creating an average xG of 0.85 and they have been conceding an average of 1.36. That isn’t too bad at the back, and Celta Vigo are actually conceding more chances at an average xG of 1.53. They are creating more though – hey average created is the same as the Las Palmas average conceded at 1.36. Both sides are pretty limited to be honest, but the 2.8 on Las Palmas feels a little short. I am tempted by the draw at 3.2, and Under 2.5 goals at 1.67 because it’s hard to see many chances in this one. I couldn’t put anyone off all three options, but I feel the best value is the Las Palmas lay at 2.8. I would have Celta Vigo marginal favourites here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Las Palmas to beat Celta Vigo at 2.8 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
