SALERNITANA V ROMA

7.45pm We have two fascinating games for Monday night football on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE from Europe this week! We have one game from Serie A and one from La Liga, both involving sides sitting in the relegation zone. We kick off the evening with Salernitana hosting Roma. Unfortunately for Salernitana, they sit nailed to the bottom of the table at the moment and they are a little adrift now too. They started this matchday four points away from Empoli in 19th, and six points away from getting out of the bottom three. It’s very unlikely that they stay up. Roma are going through a rollercoaster at the moment after sacking Jose Mourinho – no one saw that coming after the fans were chanting his name the weekend previously. He clearly had the fanbase behind him, but the results were quite poor this season. That being said, Roma haven’t spent much money at all in the last while under Mourinho and they started this matchday just two points away from the top four. The top three look away and gone at this stage, but the race for fourth is completely wide open.

It’s hard to see how Roma will improve on Mourinho, but it was widely expected that he was going to leave when his contract was up at the end of the season anyway. Perhaps that didn’t sit right for the Roma board, but here we are. Roma come into the game as the odds on favourites – they are trading 1.7 at the time of writing with Salernitana 6.1 and the draw is 3.9. Salernitana have struggled all over the pitch this season so it’s hard to be positive about them. Their average xG created of 0.89 is the worst attacking figure in Serie A this season. They are coming up against an absolutely top side at the back as well – obviously things might change now with Mourinho gone, but Roma’s average xG conceded this season is only 1.10. Only Inter Milan have a better record for conceding chances at the back. Roma have been over-performing in front of goal but their average xG created of 1.3 isn’t too impressive. I do feel that they can keep a clean sheet here, and Both Teams Not To Score at 1.83 looks a very nice position.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.83 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

GETAFE V GRANADA

8pm Next we move over to La Liga to finish Monday night football from Europe as Getafe host Granada. This time it’s Granada sitting in the bottom three, and their chances of staying up look quite bleak too. They have only managed 11 points from their 21 games and the bottom two are becoming a little adrift. Not only are Granada five points off 17th place, but it’s Sevilla sitting in 17th and they are hardly going to get relegated. They have to start moving up the table eventually! Getafe have been involved in relegation battles so they are quite experienced in surviving but they started this matchday sitting up in tenth place. They will be absolutely delighted with that and their performance level is pretty much mid-table level too. They are creating exactly what they are conceding in xG terms and they aren’t too far off that in terms of goals scored and conceded either. Granada have been struggling to create chances – their average xG created is only 1.1 which is in the bottom five attacking stats. Their average xG conceded is also in the bottom five as well, and when you put the two figures together you get one of the worst sides in La Liga. It’s not a surprise they sit in the relegation.

Getafe come into the game as the odds on favourites, but there are plenty of willing layers too. They are trading 1.85 at the time of writing with Granada 5.2 and the draw is 3.45. Granada have been exceptionally poor away from home – obviously wins have been hard to come by for them this season, but they have yet to manage one away from home. Their average xG created is only 0.86 away from home. For Getafe, they haven’t created a huge volume of chances this season but their defensive figure at home this season is pretty impressive. The 1.85 on them is a tempting bet, however I feel Both Teams Not To Score is a very appealing bet at 1.78. Granada have created so little away from home, and this game screams a very cagey game too – I feel Getafe can keep a clean sheet, maybe on the way to winning or possibly a 0-0 draw.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.78 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
