2.30pm We have another full fixture list kicking off at 2-30pm in the Bundesliga today! I have to say I’m not enjoying all the games kicking off at the same time, I much prefer getting to watch five or six games over the course of the weekend but I can understand why they are doing it given the time situation. This is an interesting fixture, and once again I’m very happy to back against Schalke. Freiburg lost 3-1 to Bayern Munich last weekend but they played much better than that scoreline suggests and Schalke have been a team to be against since returning from lockdown.
Schalke lost 4-1 against Wolfsburg last weekend but at least they created an xG of 1.7. They weren’t creating an xG over 1 for quite a while, one game it was even as low at 0.15 and we see 0.32 in another. They have been woefully out of form and Freiburg have been playing some solid football. An issue here is they have also conceded plenty of chances, but with Schalke struggling up front I’m confident on the home win here at 1.89. It looks one of the best bets of the day.

WOLFSBURG V BAYERN MUNICH
2.30pm The only bet better than Freiburg to beat Schalke this weekend is Bayern to beat Wolfsburg at 1.73. It’s max bet material. Wolfsburg may have ran out 4-1 winners in their fixture last weekend, but that came against Schalke and it also came away from home. Wolfsburg have been much better away from home this season and they have only won 4 of their 16 home games this season! They’ve only scored 19, and created 23, goals at home in 16 games.
They are there for the taking for this Bayern side and I’m very surprised to see a price as big as 1.73. I have Bayern closer to 1.5. Their numbers are obviously excellent – scoring 43 goals with an xG of 40 away from home with 15 games and only conceding 17 with an xG conceded of just under 20. You can’t get away from just how good they have been this season, and they will add another win to their belt here if this one goes to form. Bayern are the best football bet of the weekend for me.
