SATURDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews BAYERN MUNICH v BAYER LEVERKUSEN and OSASUNA v BARCELONA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BAYERN MUNICH V BAYER LEVERKUSEN
5.30pm We have a massive Saturday from Europe this week on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! It’s undoubtedly headlined by the clash of the weekend in Europe as Bayern Munich host Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, while Barcelona are also in action later in La Liga. We kick off the action with the big one, and this is going to be absolutely fascinating. Bayern Munich come into the game with a three point advantage over Bayer Leverkusen – the home side have won their four games with Leverkusen losing 3-2 to RB Leipzig at the end of August. Leverkusen managing to keep hold on Xabi Alonso has definitely made the Bundesliga title race more interesting this season – he could have gone to Bayern after all – however a home win here would put six points between them which is quite a big gap even at this early stage of the season. There’s such a big gulf in class between these two and the rest as well that you don’t expect them to drop many points outside of RB Leipzig, Dortmund and everything else would be a shock result to be honest. With home advantage, Bayern Munich come into the game as favourites at 1.76 with Bayer Leverkusen 4.6 and the draw is 4.5 at the time of writing.
As you would expect, both sides are playing some great football at the start of the season. They are both banging in goals for fun too; Leverkusen have the highest average xG created figure but Bayern have the best defensive figure. That’s where the biggest difference has been between the sides this season to be honest – Bayern have been remarkably solid at the back with an average xG conceded of just 0.71. They were very sloppy at times last season, and this is obviously an area where they had to focus coming into this season. It has been Leverkusen that have been sloppy at the back so far this season – an average of 2.25 goal conceded is very high, with their average xG conceded only 1.31. It’s hard not to see goals and drama here to be honest – the market is expecting goals with Over 2.5 goals trading as short as 1.37. Five of the last six meetings have had Over 2.5 goals, and while Over 3.5 goals is a tempting bet at 1.89 I do feel Bayern come into this game in a much better place. Home advantage and very well set up at the back, the 1.76 on the Bayern win looks a better option than any of the goal options in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Bayern Munich to beat Bayer Leverkusen at 1.76 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

OSASUNA V BARCELONA
8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Saturday from Europe as Osasuna host Barcelona. It’s been a case of so far so good for Barcelona this season in La Liga – seven wins from seven games leaves them sitting top of the table, four points clear of Real Madrid coming into this weekend. They have the best attacking figure, and the best defensive figure – Hansi Flick has really hit the ground running and obviously there is a huge buzz around the club now, which was badly needed given their money issues off the pitch. Barcelona have been pretty faultless on the pitch, and they are starting to rack up the goals now – they’ve had 7-0, 4-1 and 5-1 wins in their last four games; although they only managed a 1-0 win midweek! Osasuna will be pleased with their start to the season too – 11 points from seven games leaves them nicely in the mix for a possible shot at a UEFA Conference League spot – that would be a huge step forward after getting a taste for it after a seventh place finish in 2022/23. Osasuna have been your classic mid-table La Liga side for years now – they are remarkably consistent around that 11th spot!
Barcelona will be fully expected to win here by most football fans, and they come into the game as the odds on favourites. Barcelona at 1.48 with Osasuna 7.2 and the draw is 5.0 at the time of writing. Backing Barcelona has paid off handsomely so far this season – they had one big setback in the Champions League when they went down to ten men very early – but domestically they have been delivering for their backers. I’m sure they will be a very popular bet at 1.48 here, and I’m happy to support them again. Osasuna might have got a few results at the start of the season, but their average xG created is only 1.16 which is miles off the Barcelona level this season. We’ve enjoyed plenty of success backing Barcelona this season, and the 1.48 is cracking value to continue their winning run in my opinion – this Osasuna side are there for the taking.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Barcelona to beat Osasuna at 1.48 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
