BAYERN MUNICH V DORTMUND

5.30pm We have a wonderful Sunday from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange this week! We have two cracking fixtures from the Bundesliga and La Liga – Barcelona are in action later in La Liga, but the day is definitely headlined by Der Klassiker in the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich host Dortmund. It’s been a poor week for these two sides in the Champions League; Bayern lost 2-1 with home advantage against Inter Milan and Dortmund were absolutely hammered 4-0 by Barcelona. Fair to say that tie has been put to bed early, even with Dortmund having home advantage in the second leg. Bayern obviously have a lot of work to do in Milan, but there’s only one goal in it. Dortmund will be hoping that they already have one eye on that fixture – but they can’t really afford to fully do that given the lead is currently six points. It’s a comfortable lead, but you don’t want a nervy three point lead as we get to the business end of the season – Bayern are in an incredible position on goal difference mind. As you would expect, Bayern come into the game as the odds on favourites – Dortmund have been well off the pace this season.

Bayern are trading 1.46 with Dortmund 7.0 and the draw is 5.8 at the time of writing. There’s been a far bigger than usual gulf in class between the sides this season – Dortmund are coming into the weekend sitting down in eighth, and they are five points off a top four position – they are unlikely to see Champions League football next season. They actually have a top four attacking figure, but they’ve been exceptionally sloppy at the back. Their average xG conceded is 1.26 but their actual goals conceded average is much higher at 1.54 – that is what has them in mid-table. You cannot come to Bayern away and be dodgy at the back too! Bayern have an average xG created over 2.0 this season, and they also have the best defensive figure from all of Europe’s elite leagues with an average xG conceded of just 0.83. We tend to see fireworks in this fixture, but Under 2.5 goals has collected in the last two meetings – Over 2.5 goals did collect in the eight previous meetings though! I like Bayern to run out comfortable winners here, and they are worth backing at 2.13 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap given how sloppy Dortmund have been at the back this season.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Bayern Munich -1.5 goals to beat Dortmund at 2.13 with Betdaq Exchange.

LEGANES V BARCELONA

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish to Saturday from Europe as Leganes host Barcelona. It’s been an up-and-down week for Barcelona over the past seven days. Obviously the high of hammering Dortmund 4-0 in the Champions League and effectively putting two feet in the Semi-Final, but they also blew a chance to go six points clear of Real Madrid in the title race last Saturday. They got a chance to watch Real Madrid lose at home to Valencia – then could only draw with home advantage against Real Betis. The positive is now they are four points ahead, and they’ll have to drop points twice for Real to catch them now – time is running out quickly from that point of view. Against a side in the relegation zone, this is a game Barcelona just cannot afford to drop points in; there’s no excuse. As you would expect given the gulf in class between the sides, Barcelona come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Barcelona are trading 1.33 with Leganes 9.6 and the draw is 6.4 at the time of writing. I can’t see past a Barcelona win here, but we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value.

Leganes have been very poor this season, and it’s no surprise to see them sitting in the relegation zone looking at their performance levels. I feel this is a case of how many goals can Barcelona score rather than will they win – Real Madrid fans will have to wait a little longer if they want an upset! Leganes have the joint-worst attacking figure in La Liga with an average xG created of only 1.01. Barcelona are close to double that at 1.92, which is the top attacking figure. Leganes have also been poor at the back; their defensive figure is also the joint-worst in La Liga! Both Teams Not To Score is a nice option here at 2.1 – Leganes have been so poor going forward and Barcelona are the only side in La Liga with an average xG conceded under 1.0. Another good option is Barcelona to cover the handicap in my opinion; that’s trading 1.92 -1.5 goals which looks cracking value. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet, but with Barcelona in good form I’m happy with a confident bet on Barcelona to cover the handicap.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Barcelona -1.5 goals to beat Leganes at 1.92 with Betdaq Exchange.
