BAYERN MUNICH V DORTMUND

5.30pm It’s a blockbuster Saturday from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange! European football is back with a bang after the International Break as Bayern Munich host Dortmund in the latest Der Klassiker and then we move over to Serie A for another cracker as Roma host Inter Milan! It’s superb to have domestic football back! With Bayer Leverkusen having a difficult start to the season and sacking Erik ten Hag so early, this is actually a top of the table clash with Bayern sitting top and Dortmund four points behind them. To be honest, I know we’re only six games into the season but it already feels like the title is going to Bayern in Germany this season. Leverkusen have gifted them an early seven point gap and Dortmund and RB Leipzig haven’t been at their strongest in recent seasons. You never know though; a win here for Dortmund will no doubt shake things up – it’ll actually be interesting to see how this match plays out and how close Dortmund can get. Dortmund have the sixth best attacking figure in the Bundesliga, but they have been more solid at the back – only Bayern have a better defensive figure after six games.

The prices here reflect the gulf in class between Bayern and the rest of the Bundesliga at the moment. Obviously everyone would be expecting Bayern to be odds on with home advantage, but they are the red-hot favourites. Bayern are trading 1.36 with Dortmund 9.2 and the draw is 6.0 at the time of writing. We have had a lot of competitive games between these two over the past number of years, but Bayern are in a superb place at the moment and obviously Dortmund have been struggling to get that fifth/fourth place for Champions League football over the last two seasons. I would suggest that 1.36 feels a little short to be backing in Der Klassiker, but you cannot ignore the gulf in class now between the sides. Not only that, but Bayern have been in exceptionally good form this season – their under-lining numbers are exceptional and they are scoring goals for fun. Dortmund have been impressive at the back too though, and I do feel the market is expecting too many goals here. Under 3.5 is worth a small investment at 2.06 or bigger in my opinion.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 3.5 goals at 2.06 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ROMA V INTER MILAN

7.45pm We move over to Serie A to finish Saturday, and we have another cracker as Roma host Inter Milan. We’ve had a very entertaining start to the season in Italy – everyone has dropped points at some stage and it looks like we’re going to have a very dramatic title race. Inter will be hoping for a better ending than last season when they took it to the final day but still came up short against Napoli. As things stand coming into the weekend, Napoli sit top with the same amount of points as Roma – AC Milan are two behind and then we have Inter Milan three points behind. Obviously a win here could turn things around quickly for Inter Milan – they were on the backfoot early this season after back-to-back losses against Udinese and Juventus. Obviously you take the Juventus loss away from home on the chin, but it was disappointing to lose to Udinese with home advantage. Despite being three points off top spot, Inter have been playing the best football in Serie A this season – they have the best attacking figure and the best defensive figure. They are the only side with an average xG created over 2.0 and an average xG conceded under 1.0 – they are title winning figures if they keep that performance level.

Roma have obviously had a very positive start to the season – it was a lot better than last season anyway when they already sacked a manager at this stage! They have built their success on being solid at the back; they have the second best defensive figure – just 0.04 off Inter Milan. They haven’t been able to create as much, but given they have home advantage here you’d have to say that we should have a very close game. It’s no surprise that we have an open betting heat, and indeed that Inter are the favourites given their performance levels. Inter Milan are 2.4 with Roma 3.45 and the draw is 3.25 at the time of writing. I fully accept that Inter have been playing the better football this season, and that’s why I’m going to keep stakes low here but everything about this game screams that it’s going to be very close in my opinion. Roma have been impressive at the back, and I feel the value bet is a small position on the draw at 3.25.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.25 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
