BAYERN MUNICH V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

We start with the German Champions Bayern Munich taking on Eintracht Frankfurt after an impressive 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid midweek in the Champions League. Eintracht Frankfurt have had a good start to the season, but this should be one way traffic for Bayern.
Looking at the xG figures from Eintracht Frankfurt’s games, it’s clear they play an open game. They have had mixed fortunes, they were unlucky not to beat Arminia Bielefeld, but they were lucky to beat Hertha Berlin. Apart from a shock loss to Hoffenheim after the UEFA Super Cup, Bayern have been excellent. I think this game screams goals, and the market is also expecting goals. I think Eintracht Frankfurt can score however – and Both Teams To Score is worth backing at 1.6.

BARCELONA V REAL MADRID
3pm One of the footballs biggest fixtures and I must say, is anyone else a little disappointed with the starting time of 3pm? I know we have to do it because of their commitments in the Champions League – but I absolutely love the build up to this game and the 8pm kick off times. Nevertheless, we still have an intriguing affair ahead. There’s so many subplots, Real have had a woeful week coming into this fixture having lost against Cadiz and Shakhtar. They started both games around 1.2 on BETDAQ! Barcelona lost 1-0 against Getafe last weekend, and we all know what issues they had with Messi at the weekend.
Both sides are clearly having problems – perhaps this is the season someone else can challenge for La Liga? All the issues will be forgotten by kick off though, and even if Messi isn’t happy this is one of the biggest stages of all and that competitive nature will kick in. Real have been a better side for a while in Spain, as highlight by their title win, however this seems like a good time to back Barcelona. Everyone tends to lump on overs for this fixture with the talent on show, but the last three meetings have seen under 2.5 goals win. Barcelona are worth backing at 2.12 for me though.

DORTMUND V SCHALKE
5.30pm We go back to the Bundesliga at 5-30pm for Dortmund against Schalke. We have made a lot by betting against Schalke since returning from lockdown, and while we didn’t collect last weekend as they managed a draw against Union Berlin, I can only see that trend continuing. Even with their 1-1 draw, They only managed to create an xG of 0.29 while they conceded an xG of 1.01. They just haven’t created the chances needed since lockdown, and they are in big trouble this season unless that changes.
Dortmund lost 3-1 to Lazio midweek in the Champions League, and they were also shocked recently when losing 2-0 to Augsburg. They probably feel hard done by with both results looking at the xG, and I’m very happy to back them to cover the handicap against this poor Schalke side. 1.65 -1.5 goals looks like a cracking bet to me – Schalke create so little it won’t take much for Dortmund to cover the handicap. I haven’t gone “all in” as Dortmund generally only create an xG of two per game, but it’s a confident bet.

ATLETICO MADRID V REAL BETIS
8pm We end another Super Saturday of 0% commission on BETDAQ with Atletico Madrid against Real Betis. We’ve landed some nice bets on their last games, so hopefully that continues. We had a great result with Real Scoiedad beating Real Betis last weekend, and landed a confident bet on Bayern to beat Atletico midweek in the Champions League. I’m happy to back a home win here tonight at 1.6.
We were on Real Sociedad against Betis last weekend because the Betis underlining numbers aren’t impressive. They have been performing reasonably, but the signs are there that they will be over-bet in the coming weeks, and they shouldn’t have been so short against Sociead. Atletico have been slightly disappointing this season in the sense that they haven’t created much. That is a worry, and for that reason I am keeping stakes low, but I can only see a home win here – Atletico should outclass this Betis side. The worry is another 0-0 for Atletico where they dominate but just don’t score.
