BUNDESLIGA and LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between RB LEIPZIG v DORTMUND, GRANADA v BARCELONA OSASUNA v REAL MADRID all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
RB LEIPZIG V DORTMUND

We start with a massive clash in the Bundesliga as RB Leipzig take on Dortmund. Bayern haven’t been at their best this season, but these two still haven’t been able to live with them. Leipzig can enjoy a six point gap over Dortmund, and a win here would solidify their position as the main challenger. Leipzig have been impressive this season, even picking up a draw against Bayern are are unbeaten in their last eight.
It’s fair to say that Dortmund haven’t been as good this season as they were last season in terms of winning games, but their xG figures weren’t as good as their results last season. Perhaps that is reflected in their position in the table this season as they revert to the mean. Dortmund have conceded plenty of chances this season too, even in their 2-0 win over Wolfsburg last season they conceded an xG of 2.27 and were very lucky to keep a clean sheet. I think we’ll see who is the main challenger here and RB Leipzig will comfortably win. They are worth backing for 2.5 here.

GRANADA V BARCELONA
5.30pm We move to La Liga to see the big two in action this evening as Barcelona take on Granada here and then Real Madrid take on Osasuna. Barcelona have been off the pace in La Liga this season, but there are signs that they are starting to find form. Their xG figures have really improved in recent weeks and it looks like Messi won’t go in the transfer window now. It’ll be interesting to see what happens from here. The title looks very unlikely for them already as they are seven points behind leaders Atletico Madrid having played two games more – with a lot of drama during the summer, who knows how the season will end if they have nothing to play for over an extended period of time.
We landed a nice bet with Barcelona at nice odds midweek against Athletic Bilbao, but they were trading 1.8+ for that game and I feel they are too short at 1.46. Granada currently sit in 7th and although they have over-performed in terms of their xG figures I feel this will be a tougher test for Barcelona than the odds suggest. This is an interesting fixture to see where Barcelona are at the moment actually; if they blow them away that will be a very good sign but I can see them struggling and the 1.46 is worth a small lay.

OSASUNA V REAL MADRID
8pm We finish the day with Osasuna hosting Real Madrid and I fancy Real to end the day on a winning note at 1.5. I know they have been under par this season, especially during the early part of the season, but Osasuna are second last in La Liga and have been very poor lately. Real have found momentum before Christmas and although they weren’t able to beat Elche after returning from the small Christmas break, they did get back to winning ways against Celta Vigo last weekend. Osasuna will be quite negative here and aim for a draw, but Real have been creating enough lately to score and win.
The 1.5 on offer is just too big to ignore for me – I’d have them around 1.4. I’m actually very surprised they are a bigger price than Barcelona earlier in the evening who have a play a tougher side, also away from home. Looking at the xG figures Osasuna give away a lot of chances and you just can’t do that against a side of Real’s quality. The 1.5 looks the best bet of the day for me, especially with the added bonus of 0% commission.
