SATURDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews BARCELONA v ATHLETIC BILBAO and INTER MILAN v LECCE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BARCELONA V ATHLETIC BILBAO
6pm We have another cracking Saturday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! Inter Milan are back in action in Serie A later, but we kick off the evening with one the best games around Europe this weekend as Barcelona host Athletic Bilbao. This should be a high quality fixture, but unfortunately for Athletic Bilbao they couldn’t get their season off to a winning start on the opening weekend as they were held to a draw at home to Getafe. They had a lot of the ball but didn’t create much – they finished the game with an xG of under 1.0 so that was a disappointing start to the season. They had plenty of time to respond after it went 1-1 too; but they didn’t find the gear needed in the last 25 minutes. Bilbao were exceptionally strong at home last season – they’ll be hoping that performance was just a blip because they conceded more chances than they created away from home last season. Although they had one of their best seasons ever with a Copa del Rey win and a Europa League spot, they finished the season with an average xG created of 1.15 away from home. That’s pretty average, and Barcelona won’t have any worries about that.
Barcelona opened their season with a win over Valencia away from home, and with Real Madrid dropping points over the opening weekend that gives Barcelona an early two point advantage. As I said in my preview of Valencia v Barcelona, with Mbappe going to Real Madrid and all the issues off the pitch at Barcelona – they really needed a fast start this season. They needed to feel they have a big chance of winning the title back, and while it’s still very early days; opening weekend couldn’t have gone better for Barcelona. They come into this game as the odds on favourites at 1.67 with Athletic Bilbao 5.7 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. I have a huge amount of time for Bilbao, but away from home they are there for the taking. Barcelona played some impressive football last season despite the points gap with Real Madrid, and they couldn’t have bounced back any better after going 1-0 down last weekend. The 1.67 is too big to ignore here; I’d have them a lot closer to 1.6 and it’s a confident bet to start the evening.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Barcelona to beat Athletic Bilbao at 1.67 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

INTER MILAN V LECCE
7.45pm Next we move over to Serie A to finish Saturday night as Champions Inter Milan host Lecce. Although Inter failed to get their season off to a winning start last weekend when they were held to a 2-2 draw at Genoa, back at home now they will be fully expected to notch up their first win. They come into the game as the red-hot favourites – they are currently trading 1.23 at the time of writing with Lecce 17.5 and the draw is 7.2. That 1.23 is the shortest price in Serie A this weekend, indeed it’s one of the shortest prices around Europe! Obviously there’s a huge gulf in class between the sides, but held their own in Serie A last season. They created an average xG of 1.33 which is basically mid-table standard, but they really struggled to convert their chances. They ended up scoring less than a goal a game, and that put them within three points of the relegation zone. Not only did they struggle up front, they also struggled at the back too – they had the joint-fourth worst defensive xG in Serie A. It’s a tough ask for Lecce here, and anything bar a comfortable Inter win would be a shock.
There’s no prizes for tipping a 1.23 shot so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value here. However, I do feel that Inter are a nice addition to any Acca this weekend! You’d have to expect Lecce to try and put XI men behind the ball and make life tough for Inter here – that angle obviously makes the goals market interesting. However, I only see that tactic for Lecce creating problems for themselves – they won’t see much of the ball and will really struggle to create anything themselves. Both Teams Not To Score is trading 1.64 which is the same price as Over 2.5 goals. I have to say I much prefer the Both Teams Not To Score option at the odds – Inter will control this game and given Lecce struggled so much to score goals last season, Inter can keep a clean sheet on the way to winning.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.64 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
