LA LIGA PREVIEW: The Ultra previews REAL BETIS v BARCELONA and ATHLETIC BILBAO v ATLETICO MADRID both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
REAL BETIS V BARCELONA
5.30pm We have a cracking Saturday from La Liga on Betdaq Betting Exchange! We had some huge midweek fixtures from La Liga this season, and we have two very interesting markets to enjoy on Saturday. it was a good week for Barcelona with another win keeping them top of the table, and we kick off the action with them traveling to take on Real Betis. We’ve already had plenty of drama in the La Liga title race – but even after losing El Clasico, Barcelona come into this weekend with a one point advantage over Real. Mostly due to the fact that Real drew three games in a row before breaking that run midweek. Real Betis also won midweek, but that was in the Copa del Rey – they currently sit in fifth place in La Liga. They are usually in-or-around fifth to seventh these days. This is a game that Barcelona will be expected to win despite Betis being a pretty solid Europa League standard side. It’s no surprise that Barcelona come into the game as the favourites at 1.77 with Real Betis 4.3 and the draw is 4.6 at the time of writing.
After the midweek games, Barcelona and Real Madrid currently have the joint best attacking figure in La Liga with an average xG created of 2.24. They have been miles ahead of every else – the next best is Atletico Madrid on 1.65, and then we have Real Betis at 1.62. Clearly Betis have been playing some excellent football this season, but Barcelona have been on a different level. Not only do they have the best attacking figure, they have the best defensive figure too – they are actually creating a bit of distance between themselves and the rest on defensive figure. Their average xG conceded of only 1.03 is very impressive. Betis have been very tough to beat this season, but they have come up short when they’ve met the big sides. Their only two losses this season have come here against Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid – the two top four sides from last season. It’s hard to see past a Barcelona win here at 1.77 – they are playing exceptionally good football this season. Betis are a solid side, but as I said Barcelona are just playing at a much better level, and every time Betis come up against a top side they struggle too. I’m happy with a confident bet on Barcelona at 1.77.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Barcelona to beat Real Betis at 1.77 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATHLETIC BILBAO V ATLETICO MADRID
8pm We finish Saturday from La Liga with Athletic Bilbao hosting Atletico Madrid – this is the clash of the two losers midweek with Barcelona beating Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid beating Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid dished out a bit of a hammering to Athletic Bilbao, and once again it highlights that Bilbao are having an average season. Obviously there’s a long way to go in the season, but at the moment it looks like they will struggle to hold onto that fourth spot. I felt after last season the door was open for Bilbao to hold onto that fourth spot for a while like Sevilla did – especially with the extra money the Champions League brings, but it hasn’t turned out that way. They are eleven points off the top four after the midweek games. The loss for Atletico Madrid against Barcelona midweek definitely ruled them out of the title race in my opinion – I don’t think they were ever really in it, but a win in that game would have certainly got them involved. In fairness, they’ve been miles off Barcelona and Real Madrid on under-lining numbers. This should be an interesting game though, and we have an interesting market.
Atletico Madrid are the favourites at 2.32 with Athletic Bilbao 3.5 and the draw is 3.35 at the time of writing. Atletico Madrid have been clear third best this season, while Bilbao have an attacking figure which puts them in mid-table. The best way to describe them this season has been lacklustre to be honest, and they haven’t been as bombproof at home. Obviously they had the 3-0 loss to Real Madrid here this week, but they’ve also been beaten by Getafe and Alaves here too, which is unlike them – it’s been very difficult to come here and win for a few seasons. Both sides have been very solid at the back though – they both have the same average xG conceded at 1.17, which is the joint-third best defensive figure in La Liga this season. I do feel we’ll see quite a cagey game here, and Under 2.5 goals looks a nice position at 1.72 to finish the day. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see a 0-0 here!
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.72 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
