SERIE A SATURDAY: Our new European football tipster The Ultra is in terrific form and now previews Saturday’s games between BRESCIA v SAMPDORIA, ATALANTA v INTER MILAN and JUVENTUS v ROMA all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BRESCIA V SAMPDORIA
5pm It’s the final weekend of Serie A and we have some cracking fixtures. We have some very eye-catching games kicking off at 7-45pm, but we start with Brescia hosting Sampdoria at 5pm. Brescia have already been regulated and they were on the receiving end of a thrashing from Lazio on Wednesday night. They “only” lost 2-0, but Lazio racked up a high xG and should have won by more.
Sampdoria aren’t a million miles away from Brescia as they sit in 15th heading into the final weekend, but they are a much better side than them. I will be keeping my stakes low today because neither team has anything to play for, but Sampdoria at 1.56 are a good bet here. Although losing 4-1 to AC Milan on Wednesday, they created an xG of 2.81. Prior to that, they created an xG of 2.11 against Juventus – they have been playing well – just not converting their chances. They can hammer this poor Brescia side.

ATALANTA V INTER MILAN
7.45pm What a cracking fixture between two sides in good form. xG actually puts these two first and second in Serie A this season and although both will have one eye on Europe, this could be a cracking fixture. Second position is up for grabs, but what that means these days to sides is anyone’s guess. The main aim is Champions League football and both have that next season. Atalanta have the luxury of a longer break before the Champions League as Inter have to play reasonably quickly in the Europa League.
That allows Atalanta to play their stars for longer and to play a higher tempo game. Inter will of course want to possibly rest some players or take them off a little early. Even allowing for that, I’m expecting a very good game here without much in it. Both sides have excellent records. Atalanta have won 12 of 18 at home while scoring 51 (ten over xG), while Inter have won the same amount away while scoring 39 goals (8 over xG). Many will fancy Atalanta here but I like a small bet on the draw at 3.8 which looks very good value in a close affair.

JUVENTUS V ROMA
7.45pm This is a very interesting fixture! This is another fixture where both sides will have one eye on Europe already. Juventus have lifted the title and you could see they didn’t have the same intent against Cagliari on Wednesday night when losing 2-0. I recommended a small bet on them and was very disappointed with the performances. It’s no surprise to see Roma favourites here with them on a good run and Juve waving the white flag on the season.
xG hasn’t been kind to Juventus this season, and if their current form continues then they won’t be claiming the title again next season. Chances created has to even out eventually with results. That being said, Ronaldo and Co get the job done, and they have won 16 from 18 home games this season. Roma have nothing to play for too, and I can see an open game with plenty of chances. I’m happy to have a small bet on over 3.5 goals at 2.3 – you’d have to assume both sides will enjoy themselves here and we should see lots of action in front of goal.
