JUVENTUS V INTER MILAN

5pm It’s great to have domestic football back on Betdaq Betting Exchange, and we have a huge Saturday from Serie A! The International Break really came too early into the season, and we only had two matchdays in Serie A before the break. We have a monster Saturday ahead though, Fiorentina and Napoli clash later but we kick off the action with undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend in Europe as Juventus host Inter Milan. It’s no surprise that we have a very open betting heat here; Juventus are trading 2.9 with Inter Milan 2.98 and the draw is 3.05 at the time of writing. We usually have a tense affair between these two; other than that crazy 4-4 when Inter had home advantage last season, usually this is an exceptionally close game. That 4-4 draw last season was the only time over 2.5 goals backers collected from the last eight meetings between the sides. Inter come into this game under pressure early in the season after losing 2-1 to Udinese with home advantage before the International Break. That result would have hurt, they took a 1-0 lead within the opening 20 minutes and looked in control of the game before Udinese scored quickly twice before half-time. Inter finished the game with a possession stat of 68% and an xG of 1.76 but couldn’t get a result.

For Juventus, it’s been a case of so far so good with two wins from their opening two games. They’ve had a relatively easy fixture list with Parma and Genoa to be fair, and we should find out a lot more between now and the next International Break as Juventus will meet Inter here, Atalanta and AC Milan. It’s hard to find fault with Juventus thus far this season, but you could easily say they’ve yet to be tested. It’s easy to see why we have an open betting heat. I do feel this game screams a very tight affair, and given the history between the sides it’s hard to get away from Under 2.5 goals here at 1.72. With both sides so solid at the back and this fixture tending to be so tight, I was very surprised to see Unders trading as high as 1.72 when I clicked into the market. In my opinion, we’re getting cracking value here and I’m happy to start the weekend with a Five Star NAP at the odds!

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.72 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

FIORENTINA V NAPOLI

7.45pm We stay in Serie A for another cracker to finish Saturday as Fiorentina host Napoli. These two sides have had very different starts to the season with Fiorentina dropping points in both of their opening games while Napoli have record two wins, and came into this weekend sitting top of the table, albeit only on goal difference for the time being. Fiorentina have had to accept a 1-1 draw against Cagliari and a 0-0 draw at Torino. Both disappointing results to be honest, and perhaps the early signs are that they could struggle to stay within those European spots this season. Napoli have had a reasonably easy fixture list so far and have recorded two wins from two; they’ve been in full control and kept two clean sheets. You couldn’t ask for more, obviously bigger challenges lie ahead. It’s not a surprise to see Napoli come into this game as the favourites and it’s also not a surprise that they aren’t odds on. We don’t have an exceptionally open market like Juventus v Inter Milan earlier in the day though! Napoli are the favourites at 2.32 with Fiorentina 3.65 and the draw is 3.25 at the time of writing.

It’s still early days in the season of course, but Fiorentina haven’t exactly been setting the world alight going forward. Last season they had a mid-table average xG figure too, and given how strong Napoli have been at the back it’s hard to see Fiorentina winning here in my opinion. Napoli were one of only two sides to finish last season with an average xG conceded under 1.0 as well. The Napoli win is an option at 2.32, but I do feel Under 2.5 goals offers a lot of value at 1.63. Another option has to be Both Teams Not To Score at 1.86. It’s hard to see past a very tight game here, and I really don’t see many chances. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, but Napoli have been so good at the back and obviously with Fiorentina struggling to create chances, I like the Both Teams Not To Score option at the bigger price.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.86 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
