WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s World Cup Qualifiers between REPUBLIC OF IRELAND V AZERBAIJAN and SCOTLAND V MOLDOVA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND V AZERBAIJAN

5pm The World Cup Qualifiers continue on Saturday and we have two massive games for Ireland and Scotland this evening. Ireland’s qualification chances might be gone, but after a dramatic game with Portugal on Wednesday they really need to bounce back and win this game. Both sides sit bottom of Group A with zero points from three games, and while it’s all well and good seeing Ireland play better football against the top sides; they need to start beating the average sides. It will be very interesting to see what happens if Azerbaijan sit back and put XI men behind the ball – do Ireland have the quality to break them down? The jury is still very much out in that regard, and I’m sure there will be some big opinions on BETDAQ Betting Exchange about the Ireland price at around 1.6, especially with 0% Commission on all football bets today!

Ireland put in a much improved display against Portugal on Wednesday night, but they always do tend to play above their average level away from home against the top sides. Sitting back and playing count-attacking football suits them. I have this match fascinating, as Azerbaijan will likely sit back and Ireland will have to make the running. That definitely doesn’t suit Ireland, and you have to say leaving aside the performance against Portugal, Ireland look a good value lay here at 1.61. That’s simply too short for a side with very average ability and doesn’t score many goals. Azerbaijan finished third in a Nations League Group with Montenegro, Luxembourg and Cyrus and that’s probably a reflection of their ability at the moment – Ireland have already lost at home to Luxembourg in this Group, and the 1.61 is simply too short here. I expect a close game between two average sides.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Republic Of Ireland to beat Azerbaijan at 1.61 with BETDAQ Exchange.

SCOTLAND V MOLDOVA

7.45pm We finish the evening with Scotland hosting Moldova, in a must win game for the home side. Scotland lost ground in Group F on Wednesday when they lost to Denmark. You have to admit that wasn’t unexpected though, and we got some nice value on our bet on Denmark – however now Scotland have to win this game. Israel and Austria went past them with wins over Faroe Islands and Moldova on Wednesday, but they have to play each other tonight so Scotland can get right back in the mix again with a win. There should be no excuses for beating Moldova, and the markets agrees as Scotland are trading as short as 1.2 at the time of writing. Denmark are clearly going to win Group F as they start this evening five points ahead of second place, but everything is to play for in second place.

Anything bar a Scotland win would be a massive shock here, and I feel it’s a case of how many can Scotland score rather than will they win. Moldova got relegated from Group C in the last Nations League finishing with just one point in a Group with Slovenia, Greece and Kosovo – that Group was definitely above their ability and you’d still fancy Scotland to beat those three sides with home advantage. I fancy Scotland to cover the handicap here, and the 1.59 -1.5 goals is very good value. Scotland should win easily here, and they have been creating enough chances lately to cover the handicap.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Scotland -1.5 goals to beat Moldova at 1.59 with BETDAQ Exchange.
