SUNDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews DORTMUND V BAYER LEVERKUSEN and ‘El Clasico’ REAL MADRID v BARCELONA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
DORTMUND V BAYER LEVERKUSEN
4.30pm After an immense week around Europe, we finish it off with a blockbuster Sunday on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have two huge clashes to enjoy – I’m sure all eyes will be on El Clasico in La Liga later, but we kick off the action with a brilliant game from the Bundesliga as Dortmund host Bayer Leverkusen. Both these clubs come into this fixture on an absolute high – Dortmund came from behind to beat Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday while we saw some incredible scenes last weekend as Bayer Leverkusen confirmed the Bundesliga title. Let’s not forget that Leverkusen also have a Europa League Semi-Final to look forward to as well! With the title in the bag, Leverkusen can now focus on adding the Europa League this season – the team news might be interesting here, and that will definitely be a trading angle to watch out for. Dortmund will be hoping for a weaker than usual Leverkusen side given the top four race. As things stand, Dortmund come into the weekend level on points with RB Leipzig but they are miles behind on goal difference. This is the start of a huge run for Dortmund – they meet RB Leipzig next weekend before the Champions League Semi-Final with PSG.
We have an open betting heat; Dortmund are the favourites at 2.52 with Bayer Leverkusen 2.82 and the draw is 3.9 at the time of writing. The 2.52 might feel a little short on Dortmund given Leverkusen haven’t lost a Bundesliga game all season – I suppose the jury is out on how they play now the title is confirmed. We’ve saw countless times when sides have the title in the bag that they can switch off, however I feel going the season unbeaten would be a good target. That being said, surely with them still in Europe nobody is playing a Bundesliga game with a knock etc. Dortmund have been much better at home compared to away this season; their average xG created at home is as high as 1.9 which is very impressive while they’ve been conceding a host of chances away from home. We all know just how good Leverkusen have been this season, and I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market because this game screams goals. I can’t see Leverkusen sitting back with nothing to play for, and Dortmund always like to play an open game at home. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.56 and that looks cracking value in what should be an entertaining game.

REAL MADRID V BARCELONA
8pm We finish a blockbuster week in Europe with El Clasico. With all the drama we saw in the Champions League Quarter-Finals this week, is there a better way to finish the week than watching Real Madrid v Barcelona on a Sunday night? It’s just a shame that they aren’t a little closer in the title race – Real Madrid have a nice eight point cushion. We’re at the stage of the season now where this is a real do-or-die situation for Barcelona, and even then a win here might mean little in the title race. From a Barcelona point of view, a win here might put a little pressure on and you also have to consider that Real Madrid have a Champions League Semi-Final coming up too. Barcelona would have loved to be in the same situation, but unfortunately got knocked out by PSG on Tuesday night in a thriller. From a Real Madrid point of view, they’ll just want to get through this fixture without losing, but obviously it’s not in their nature to play that way. Real Madrid come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.92 with Barcelona 4.2 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing.
Both sides have been exceptional going forward this season; Real Madrid have an average xG created of 1.97 and for Barcelona it’s 1.87. The two of them have been quite a wide margin ahead of the others; the next highest average xG is 1.58 for example – Atletico Madrid. The major difference between the sides this season has been at the back; Real have an average xG conceded of 1.06 while for Barcelona it’s 1.18. There isn’t a huge difference between the sides on both figures, but put everything together and you can clear see Real are the best side in La Liga this season. They also have the best player; Jude Bellingham has been immense and had a huge impact on the last El Clasico. I have to say the 1.92 on Real is a tempting bet here, however we usually see drama when these two meet and Barcelona have to go all out to win here. I feel that will bring an open game, and Over 2.5 goals looks a very nice position at 1.59. Seven of the last eight meetings have had Over 2.5 goals in all competitions; some of those meetings have been around the world due to money these days – the sides met in Saudi Arabia for the Supercopa for example, but I felt we’d see Overs trading shorter than 1.59 – it looks good value to finish the week!
