BAYERN MUNICH V WOLFSBURG

4.30pm We have a cracking Sunday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. Two fascinating fixtures from the Bundesliga and Serie A await, and both have very interesting situations with sides coming into games off a drama filled week in the Champions League and Europa League Semi-Finals. We kick off the day in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich hosting Wolfsburg. Bayern suffered some massive heartbreak on Wednesday night at the Bernabeu as they took a 1-0 lead and held onto it until the 88th minute. Obviously it’s a very difficult place to be when the stadium is bouncing and you’re up against one of the best sides in the world, Real finding a winner in injury time almost felt inevitable after they found the equaliser. Bayern had some excellent chances to put the game away, and spare a thought for Manuel Neuer – he’s been with Bayern for so long and he’s been such a legend too – making a mistake like that on such a big stage must have hurt. Bayern came so close, but now they have to pick themselves up – I’m not really sure how they are going to do that given their season is over.

Despite that, Bayern Munich come into this game as the red-hot favourites at 1.38 with Wolfsburg 7.8 and the draw is 6.2 at the time of writing. I have to say I wouldn’t be rushing to back Bayern at 1.38 even with the massive gulf in class between the sides. They have dropped points plenty of times in the Bundesliga since the title race is over – it was obvious their full focus was on the Champions League, and that’s not even mentioning how difficult Wednesday will be to get over. Wolfsburg have been very poor this season, but they have put three wins together which is their best run of the season. Their under-lining numbers are very much mid-table standard; they have been sloppy at the back though as they are conceding more goals than they should. I feel this game screams goals given the situation, and you wouldn’t be surprised to see something crazy like a 4-4 here in a very open game. Over 2.5 goals is trading the same price as the Bayern win at 1.38, and to me that looks better value than the Bayern win. However, I’m going to go one higher as I really like Over 3.5 goals at 1.92. I’m fully expecting a very open game here and I feel we’re getting so much value at 1.92 it is worth a five star NAP!

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Over 3.5 goals at 1.92 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATALANTA V ROMA

7.45pm Next we move over to Serie A to finish Sunday with a cracker as Atalanta host Roma. These two were involved in the Europa League Semi-Finals on Thursday night, and these two sides had different fortunes with Atalanta heading through to the Final and Roma knocked out. Roma were always up against it 2-0 down away to Bayer Leverkusen heading into the second leg but they gave us some major drama as they took a 2-0 lead! Leverkusen bounced back however, and an equaliser in injury time would make you believe that they will never be beaten again – that’s a record 49 games unbeaten which is a European record. Anyway, this is an absolutely huge game for both sides. It’s pretty much confirmed that Italy and Germany will gain the extra two spots for the Champions League next season. One of these sides will benefit from that as Atalanta sit in fifth and Roma in sixth coming into this fixture – to add to the drama they both have the same amount of points too – however, very importantly, Atalanta do have a game in hand. With home advantage for this fixture too, they are very much in the box seat for that fifth spot.

Not that it matters now either, but Bologna have definitely dropped a few points recently and now these two start the weekend only four behind – if Atalanta win here and win their game in hand they could catch them, but with fifth place getting Champions League football now it doesn’t matter too much. Atalanta come into the game as favourites at 2.1 with Roma 3.9 and the draw is 3.65 at the time of writing. Atalanta have much better performance figures compared to Roma, but obviously Roma were creating very little under Mourinho – since he was sacked they have opened up and their average xG created is increasing week-on-week. Atalanta have the third best attacking figure in Serie A this season, and they have been solid at the back at home too – their average xG conceded is only 1.14 at home this season. Roma are conceding more chances than they are creating away from home, and I’d have Atalanta a little shorter than 2.1 here. We landed a five star NAP on Atalanta on Thursday night, and while the stakes a little different here we can land another bet on Atalanta.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Atalanta to beat Roma at 2.1 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
