BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews three feature games from the Bundesliga and La Liga on Sunday all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

HOFFENHEIM V BAYERN MUNICH
2.30pm We have an excellent Sunday of European action ahead! We start with Hoffenheim hosting Bayern Munich after the Champions League Champions added the UEFA Super Cup to their trophy list on Thursday night. They needed extra time to beat Sevilla though, and they don’t have a lot of time to recover. That being said it’s early in the season and the players legs should be fresh! Hoffenheim started their season with an eventful 3-2 win over Koln, they’ll be hoping to continue where they left off last season after scoring 11 goals in their last three games last season with only conceding one.
Only conceding one against this Bayern side will obviously be a huge challenge! Bayern have been dominant in Germany for quite some time now and they started their season with an 8-0 win over Schalke! I think we won’t see too many goals today though. Hoffenheim are solid at the back and a very cagey side, plus Bayern had a tough game on Thursday night. I can’t see Bayern not getting the job done; but I can see Hoffenheim making it difficult and I’m happy to have a small bet on under 3.5 goals at odds against.

SC FREIBURG V WOLFSBURG
5pm In the second Bundesliga game of the day, I’m a big fan of Wolfsburg at the odds here. Wolfsburg managed to help us collect our Bayer Leverkusen lay last weekend with a 0-0 draw, but they created enough to win the game and will feel a little unlucky. Freiburg had an eventful 3-2 win over Stuttgart, in a game where Stuttgart had the better xG. However it was a very open game with a host of chances. Wolfsburg won’t allow Freiburg the same chances here, while Freiburg aren’t so solid at the back.
I believe that’s where the game will be won and lost today. There wasn’t much between the pair in the Bundesliga last season, with only one point between them in 7th and 8th. Wolfsburg were much better away from home however, and although we obviously have different times these days with Covid19, they obviously like playing counter attacking football. Against an open side like Freiburg, that should play into their hands perfectly.

BARCELONA V VILLARREAL
8pm All eyes will be on Barcelona as we finish Sunday with an excellent fixture in La Liga. It’s been a very troubled summer for Barca, they had all the drama with Messi, a new manager and some of their stars leaving. Although many would argue it’s been a while since Luis Suarez performed. Messi came out after his transfer and said that Barcelona “threw out” Suarez, so maybe he wasn’t performing because of dressing room issues. Either way, it’s a very different Barcelona this season and I can’t wait to see how they play.
They begin the season with a tricky tie, and will of course be under immense pressure given all the drama around the club. Villarreal have started their season with two very impressive performances. They only drew 1-1 with Huesca but they created an xG of 2.72 to 0.74 and were very unlucky to only draw, while they then followed that with a smooth 2-1 win over Eibar where they created an xG of 3.63. I think they can score here and at 1.63 that looks very good value for Both Teams To Score. Very interested to see how Barcelona shape up, as Villarreal look in good form.
