KOLN V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT
2.30pm We had all the big teams in action yesterday, but today brings more open markets and some very interesting betting heats. We start the day with Koln hosting Eintracht Frankfurt. Koln have started the season very poorly with no points from three games. They only managed not to be last at the start of Matchday 4 because of how many goals Mainz and Schalke have conceded. Koln were one of those teams last season that had better xG numbers than their results, and the same could happen this season.
They were very unlucky to lose against Arminia Bielefeld, while you could argue they deserved a draw against Hoffenheim. Arminia Bielefeld were actually very lucky to get a draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Frankfurt dominating that game winning 2.26 to 0.74 on xG. Since then they have won both their games including an impressive performance against Hoffenheim. They look good at the start of the season, and they are worth backing at 2.2 to start the day on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Eintracht Frankfurt to beat Koln at 2.2 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

VILLARREAL V VALENICA
3pm We have the first Derby de la Comunitat of the season on Sunday afternoon between two sides that seen a lot of change over the summer. Unai Emery has taken over at Villarreal and they have started the season positively. They managed a draw with Atletico Madrid prior to the International break, while they have performed well in all their other games apart from losing against Barcelona away from home – which is to be expected really.
Valencia hit the reset button in summer and cleared house, and I’m not sure if that was the right decision or not yet. To be honest, it’s an exceptionally tough decision. Changing so much while not spending the money that the big clubs have, is always going to have it’s problems. They haven’t been playing well at the start of the season though, and looking at xG it’s going to be another difficult season for them. I like Villarreal for the win here as they are playing much better football and should collect three points here.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Villarreal to beat Valencia at 1.71 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

SCHALKE V UNION BERLIN
5pm Schalke have been one of my favourite teams to bet against for a while now. They have been woeful since returning from lockdown. It’s remarkable really given all the breaks we’ve had that they haven’t been able to correct their issues. Another thing is that it’s not just a case of them being on a long losing run, their performances have been very poor and reflect their results. It’s not like a team who had lost six, but xG says they’re playing well and have been unlucky.
You know morale is low when you start the season with an 8-0 loss. Granted that came against Bayern Munich, but they shipped four goals against RB Leipzig before the International break too. Union Berlin aren’t the greatest side – they are basically a mid-table Bundesliga side that won’t really achieve much in the grand scheme of things. However, with Schalke in terrible form I’m very happy to take the 2.72 on the Union Berlin win here.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Union Berlin to beat Schalke at 2.72 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

REAL BETIS V REAL SOCIEDAD
8pm We end the day in La Liga with Real Betis hosting Real Sociedad. This should be a good game, and while I’m not surprised we have an open market, I am surprised to see Real Sociedad as big as 2.94. They have started the season very well, apart from losing 1-0 to Valencia in a game that should have finished a draw. They managed a draw with Real Madrid, and have beaten both Elche and Getafe 3-0. They did disappointing me on the opening weekend with a draw against Real Valladolid, but the 2.94 looks great value today.
Real Betis have started the season in good form, winning three and losing twice. Real Sociedad were much better last season though, finishing up in the 6th position while Real Betis ended up down in 15th. Don’t get me wrong, I expect a very close game. However, I would have the odds the other way around. Real Betis are 2.56 but that’s more like my Real Sociedad price, and I’m very happy to get 2.94.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Real Sociedad to beat Real Betis at 2.94 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
