BUNDESLIGA AND LA LIGA SUNDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews the top La Liga and Bundesliga games on Sunday with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

WOLFSBURG V ARMINIA BIELEFELD
2.30pm As usual, we start Sunday in the Bundesliga at 2-30pm! Wolfsburg take on Bundesliga new boys Arminia Bielefeld having starting the season with four draws in a row! Arminia Bielefeld have had a very up and down start, but they actually have the same number of points. They were very unlucky not to beat Werder Bremen, but their xG numbers look pretty poor in their other three games. Although granted they had no chance against Bayern Munich.
Wolfsburg games have been pretty boring, they’ve had two 0-0’s and two 1-1’s! They haven’t created much, as you would imagine with those score lines coming up consistently, but they were lucky to draw with Gladbach last weekend. For me, this is an excellent chance for Wolfsburg to collect three points. You can see Arminia Bielefeld give up a lot of chances, and Wolfsburg are pretty solid at the back. Stakes are kept low, because Wolfsburg haven’t exactly been creating a lot of chances themselves, but this is their chance to win.

WERDER BREMEN V HOFFENHEIM
5pm I’m a big fan of Hoffenheim here at 2.32 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. They’ve had a crazy start to the season, with a 4-1 win over Bayern Munich followed by two losses against Eintracht Frankfurt and Dortmund, but they have been playing some good football. For me this is the ideal time to back them, as they bump into an unimpressive Werder Bremen side. Werder Bremen actually have one more point than Hoffenheim coming into the game, but their underlining numbers are poor.
They were exceptionally lucky to beat Arminia Bielefeld, and then the fixture list has been kind to them. They played Schalke who have been very poor since returning from lockdown and Freiburg who aren’t great either. They haven’t created much at all apart from against Schalke, but Schalke actually created an xG of 2.06 against them which is far bigger than any of their recent performances given they have been so poor. Hoffenheim are a rock solid side, and this is an excellent chance for them to collect three points.

REAL SOCIEDAD V HUESCA
8pm We landed a lovely bet with Real Sociedad last weekend, and they can win again to finish off the weekend. In fairness to Huesca, they have been tough to beat since coming up to La Liga. That’s all you can ask for really, and their aim will be to stay in the top division at the end of the season. They managed to keep Atletico Madrid to 0-0 at home, and while some draws were lucky, some were unlucky too – they should have beaten Elche.
Sociedad had a very impressive season in 2019/2020, and they have started this season in great form. They managed a 0-0 with Real Madrid without much fuss, and other than losing to Valencia when they should have got a draw, they’ve won all their games and they have created a lot of chances. Since the 0-0 draw with Real Madrid, they have recorded xG’s of 3.45, 0.71, 2.71, 1.81 and 2.02. Huesca like to keep games nice and tight, but Real Sociedad will outscore them here and they are an appealing bet at 1.67.
