BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s Bundesliga / La Liga games between SC FREIBURG v HERTHA BERLIN, WOLFSBURG v STUTTGART and EIBAR v REAL MADRID all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SC FREIBURG V HERTHA BERLIN
2.30pm Another fantastic Sunday ahead in Europe! I love these Bundesliga Sunday afternoon with very open markets, thankfully we have had great success over the last few weeks and hopefully we can bang in two more winners today. It’s not a surprise to see such an open market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange as these sides are very similar. There’s only one point between them in the Bundesliga after 12 games. They both come here in reasonable form too, Freiburg are unbeaten in four while Hertha are unbeaten in three, and it’s hard to see anything other than a close game – however I do see value in the odds.
I like Freiburg here at 2.76 – I would have them a little shorter. They have been creating more chances recently than Hertha. The xG of 4.39 against Gladbach recently is very eye-catching – that came here too, and they recorded a smooth 2-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld in their last home game. For me Hertha Berlin just don’t create the same volume of chances, and with Freiburg very comfortable at home I can see them outscoring Hertha today. The 2.76 appeals a lot as well – I would have them closer to 2.6.

WOLFSBURG V STUTTGART
5pm A very interesting game. Both sides come here playing some very good football, and we could have an excellent game this afternoon. Wolfsburg were in excellent form prior to their 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich midweek but they performed well and loss nothing in defeat in my view. Stuttgart have thrown in some eye-catching performances with a 5-1 win over Dortmund and it’s fair to say their games have been packed with goals. I feel that this game screams goals and when you look at the xG figures for both sides, you just get more and more confident.
The market expects goals too with over 2.5 goals at 1.53 but I still feel that offers a lot of value. I would have the price closer to 1.4, and even over 3.5 goals offers a lot of value too at 2.35. Both sides generally score and concede in their sides and they also like to play an open game. I think these two will gel together perfectly and we’ll see a very good game. The over 3.5 goals bet is very tempting, but on balance over 2.5 goals is big enough for a very confident bet at 1.53.

EIBAR V REAL MADRID
8pm We finish the day in La Liga with Eibar hosting Real Madrid. Eibar are unbeaten in their last five games, although four of those have ended in a draw. Real will have their work cut out however, and they’ll have to arrive in good form. Calling what Real Madrid side turn up has been slightly difficult this season – they’ve had some woeful performances and some excellent ones. However, in recent weeks they have “got their act together” in La Liga and now they are getting back into contention at the top of the table. Their win over Atletico Madrid was massive; although xG said a draw would have been a fair result.
Eibar managed a draw with Real Sociedad last weekend but Sociedad have had a lot of draws lately. They started very strong and topped La Liga, but they have started to go backwards since. I fully take on board that Real have been unreliable this season, but Eibar are an average mid-table La Liga side at best and the 1.59 on the Real win here is too big to turn down in my opinion. They were comfortable against Athletic Bilbao midweek, and they can comfortably win this one too.
