SUNDAY IN EUROPE: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews VALENCIA v REAL VALLADOLID, HERTHA BERLIN v ARMINIA BIELEFELD, JUVENTUS v AC MILAN and REAL MADRID v SEVILLA all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

VALENCIA V REAL VALLADOLID

3.15pm What a fascinating Sunday in Europe! We have it all today, relegation battles and top of the table clashes. We have some intriguing markets on BETDAQ Betting Exchange too. We start the day in La Liga with Valencia hosting Real Valladolid. Valencia are probably far enough away from the relegation zone to not call this a relegation battle, but they are “only” six points ahead and can’t afford to lose all their remaining games. The pressure is really on Valladolid however, as they started the weekend just one point outside the bottom three. They would have been glad to see Elche lose on Friday night, and now only Huesca can go past them over the weekend. They must be looking at this fixture as an excellent chance to pick up points though, as Valencia have been very average this season.

Both sides come into the game on a poor run, neither winning in their last six games. Valladolid have been the more solid when four draws in a row, however that being said Valencia have managed three draws in their last six. Both sides seem to be playing some crazy football at the moment looking at the xG figures – talk about open games. Valencia have conceded xG’s of 3.09 and 3.58 recently, but they have also created 2.47 and 1.98 – they are creating enough to win games but just giving away chances. You could say the same about Valladolid too, they have given away 2.07 and 2.09 in their last two games, but then created 3.50 prior to that! If I was having a bet in the match odds market I would lay Valencia are they are too short at 2.12 but Both Teams To Score looks excellent value at 1.86 here and I can’t ignore a price like that.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Both Teams To Score at 1.86 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

HERTHA BERLIN V ARMINIA BIELEFELD

5pm Next we move over to the Bundesliga for a real relegation six pointer! It seems like Hertha Berlin have shot up the table with a draw and a win from their last two games, but although they are in 14th they started the weekend only one point ahead of Koln in the relegation zone. Hertha were in the bottom two for a while, but they were unable to play for almost a month due to Covid19 and now they have a game in hand on their rivals. They came back from their enforced break under immense pressure looking at the table, I know they had games in hand, but they really needed to win. Arminia Bielefeld have the same amount of points as Hertha Berlin, but they start the weekend in the relegation playoff spot. There’s a lot on the line here, especially with limited games left.

It’s not unreasonable to suggest both sides are finishing the season strongly, for their level. I know Arminia Bielefeld shipped five goals against Gladbach but they have put together some solid performances before that against average sides. They beat Schalke and Freiburg with impressive football. It’s hard to know what to expect from Hertha given the big gap, but they were impressive against Freiburg on Thursday, however they didn’t deserve to draw 1-1 with Mainz after they conceded an xG of 3.16. Mainz are another side who have finished the season very strongly from a relegation battle too. I wouldn’t have Hertha odds on here, and although the draw is tempting I feel the value call is to lay Hertha and also have the Arminia Bielefeld win on your side.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Hertha Berlin to beat Arminia Bielefeld at 1.94 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

JUVENTUS V AC MILAN

7.45pm After two big games for sides towards the bottom of the table in the Bundesliga and La Liga, now we move onto the top quality games towards the top of the table. Juventus or AC Milan won’t be lifting the Serie A title this season but this is an excellent fixture nonetheless. The situation in Serie A is actually fascinating – Inter Milan are away and gone at the top of the table, but Atalanta, Juventus and AC Milan all started the weekend with 69 points and then Napoli have 67 and Lazio have 64. With less money in Serie A these days, those top four positions are massive. AC Milan have been the weakest link recently – they actually topped the table for most of the season if you don’t follow Serie A but then fell away dramatically when Inter came to challenge them.

Juventus have been in great form lately, although they did lose a big game with Atalanta last month. AC Milan put in an impressive xG figures against Benevento if their last game, but they are in the bottom three and prior to that they had been playing poorly. We landed a Max Bet on Lazio to beat AC Milan, and I feel we can land another Max Bet against AC Milan here again. For a number of weeks now, AC Milan have been giving away chances for fun and with Juventus finishing the season strongly I can only see one winner here. Juventus are a clear Max Bet at odds of 1.83 – I don’t think you’ll find a better bet today!

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Juventus to beat AC Milan at 1.83 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

REAL MADRID V SEVILLA

8pm We finish the day with another cracker as Real Madrid take on Sevilla in La Liga. The top four are clear in La Liga so we don’t quite have the same drama we do in Serie A, but boy do we have drama at the top of the table! At the start of the weekend, we only had two points between Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona – and it’s a blockbuster weekend as Atletico Madrid played Barcelona yesterday and Real Madrid play Sevilla today. Real would have obviously been glued to their TV screens yesterday but the reality is they just have to keep winning – they can’t afford to drop anymore points. They have to pick themselves up too after crashing out of the Champions League midweek against Chelsea.

Sevilla tend to always come up short against the big boys in La Liga over the course of the season, but that doesn’t mean they can’t match them for 90 minutes and take points off them. They were very unlucky to lose against Athletic Bilbao on Monday, creating enough to win the game. They have been very impressive lately, although they haven’t been banging in goals we have saw xG figures like 4.28 against Real Sociedad for example! Real Madrid conceded an xG of 3.79 against Chelsea midweek which has to be a huge worry and I have to lay Real at the odds here. The 2.1 is just too short and I fully expect a closer game than those odds reflect.

The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Real Madrid to beat Sevilla at 2.1 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
