LECCE V INTER MILAN

5pm It’s another cracking Sunday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have action from Serie A and La Liga with Inter Milan and Barcelona both in action, and I’m sure they will be a very popular double – they are both trading as red-hot favourites against sides in relegation battles. We start the day in Serie A with Lecce hosting Inter Milan. Lecce are under immense pressure in the relegation fight – they start this matchday sitting just above the bottom three in 17th spot. They are possibly “lucky” that the bottom two look a little adrift so there’s possibly only one spot left, but as we all know things can change quickly. Inter Milan are under a different type of pressure – title race pressure is the good kind of pressure. Napoli and Juventus meet on Saturday, and coming into the weekend as things stand Inter are three points behind Napoli but they do have a game in hand. Inter fans will be hoping that Juventus can keep that unbeaten record this weekend and then Inter will close the gap on Napoli. It looks like Atalanta are falling away – they lost last weekend after dropping points with three draws, and now they face a huge battle to get back in touch with the top two.

It’s not a surprise to see Inter Milan as the red-hot favourites here. They are trading 1.35 with Lecce 10.5 and the draw is 5.7 at the time of writing. Lecce have been really struggling up front this season – they have an average xG created of 1.21 which isn’t the worst attacking figure in Serie A, but it is a pretty poor one. They haven’t even been taking those chances though; their actual goals scored average is only 0.71. They are in the bottom four on defensive figures too, so it’s no surprise to see them in a relegation battle. Inter should win comfortably here in my opinion, and I feel we have two options here. Inter to cover the handicap, which is trading 2.02 -1.5 goals and then Both Teams Not To Score is trading 1.84. Inter have been so solid at the back – they have an average xG conceded of 0.98 which is the best defensive figure in Serie A this season – along with the fact that Lecce have been so poor going forward, the Both Teams Not To Score option is a good one, but that 2.02 on Inter to cover the handicap looks cracking value. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Inter Milan -1.5 goals to beat Lecce at 2.02 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BARCELONA V VALENCIA

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Sunday from Europe as Barcelona host Valencia. You could call this a must win game for both sides – obviously that’s a little silly to be saying from a Valencia point of view when you’re away to Barcelona, but every game is a must win game for them at the moment given they sit in the relegation zone. They are in danger of getting a little adrift too – they start the matchday four points away from Alaves in 17th spot. Barcelona desperately need a win – more dropped points last weekend leaves them seven points behind Real Madrid coming into this weekend. Real Madrid play Real Valladolid on Saturday who sit bottom of the table, so they’ll be fully expected to win that game. Obviously Barcelona had a long break in La Liga games because of Christmas and the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, but that’s now a run of four games without a win – and only one win in their last eight games. They’ve gone from nine points ahead to possibly starting this game ten points behind if Real Madrid win on Saturday. That’s been an incredible turnaround – the honeymoon period is well and truly over for Hansi Flick!

Despite the current run for Barcelona, it’s not a surprise to see them trading as the red-hot favourites here given all the problems Valencia have had this season. Barcelona are trading 1.24 with Valencia 14.5 and the draw is 7.6 at the time of writing. It would be a real shame to see Valencia get relegated given the history of the club, but they have had big issues for a while now. They have the fourth worst attacking figure this season, and they’ve been quite sloppy at the back. Their average xG conceded is only 1.18 which is an impressive figure, but they are conceding over that. As much as I’d expect Barcelona to win here, I wouldn’t be rushing to include them in any weekend Acca given their current run at such short odds. I do feel that they can keep a clean sheet here on the way to winning though – Both Teams Not To Score is a nice bet at 1.89 given all the issues Valencia have had up front.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.89 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
