SUNDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s top games in the La Liga and Serie A all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
REAL BETIS V OSASUNA
3.15pm It’s brilliant to have club football back, and we’ve already had a superb weekend on BETDAQ Betting Exchange but Sunday is a real day to look forward to. We have some huge games in Serie A and La Liga later tonight, but we start the day in La Liga with Real Betis hosting Osasuna. The International break probably came at a good time for Real Betis because they needed to reset. Their season had almost gone up in flames within a few weeks as they crashed out of Europe and dropped out of the top four in La Liga. They have a Copa Del Rey Final coming up this month though and although they started the weekend four points behind Atletico Madrid in fourth, they aren’t fully out of the race yet. You have to say though that it’s a long way back – Atletico gained a lot of momentum just at the right time when Real Betis when standing still and that game was always going to be massive when the sides met. It came at a bad time for Real Betis, but then they also dropped points before the International break with a 0-0 draw away to Celta Vigo.
That performance was poor with an xG of only 0.51, and although Real Betis fans will view this as an excellent chance to get back to winning ways Osasuna have been rock solid this season. Osasuna are your classic mid-table La Liga side, but they have actually been very good away from home this season. After the International break they sat in 6th in the away form table and they will give Real Betis a very tough afternoon. I do feel that the International break came at a good time for Real Betis and they had time to regroup, but I still feel it’s a good time to take them on at the moment. I’m going to keep stakes small and see has anything changed in their form during this game, but I’m still happy to have a small lay of Betis at 2.0 – I can really see Osasuna making life very difficult for Betis this afternoon and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see an away win.
The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Real Betis to beat Osasuna at 2.0 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

JUVENTUS V INTER MILAN
7.45pm Next we move to Serie A for an absolute cracker! Juventus host Inter Milan in another blockbuster Serie A tie. We’ve been treated to a lot of big games at the top of Serie A recently and this is another we can add to the list. It’s almost hard to believe these two sides started the weekend with just one point between them – a month or so ago it looked like Inter Milan were just about to take over at the top of the table like they did last season. However, this season they shuttered when their chance came and they lost to AC Milan. Since then they have lost to Sassuolo and then dropped further points in draws against Genoa, Torino and Fiorentina. Those back-to-back draws prior to the International break definitely hurt them, they were left six points behind AC Milan at the top of the table and although they have one game in hand they need AC Milan and Napoli to slip up at some stage. AC Milan and Napoli weren’t exactly firing at the time either, it’s just Inter have been pretty average.
Juventus started the season exceptionally slowly and now they will go ahead of Inter with a win here which is incredible. It was always going to take time for Juventus to adjust to life without the goals from Ronaldo – you can say what you want about Ronaldo in the dressing room but you can’t knock his performances on the pitch, he is a goal machine. It’s getting to the stage of the season now where every game is a must win game for Inter to close that gap but I just don’t see them playing well enough to get three points here. Obviously we have a very open market – that’s no surprise, but I disagree with the odds – I wouldn’t have Inter as favourites at 2.7 – I would have the sides even closer together. I wouldn’t even disagree with all three outcomes being 3.0! It’s hard to see anything bar a very close and cagey game here, and I expect Juventus to grind out a result with home advantage. The Inter lay is definitely the value for me.

BARCELONA V SEVILLA
8pm We move back to La Liga to finish a cracking day as Barcelona host Sevilla. Barcelona took all the headlines prior to the International break with a 4-0 win in El Clasico. That was a huge win for Xavi and the team – I said beforehand that although the fixture was basically meaningless with the title race already over, it was important for the future. Barcelona were either going to lay down a marker to say that we’ll be back challenging for the title next season or Real were going to blow them away. They laid down a massive marker though, and it’s been an incredible improvement under Xavi thus far. I have to say that Sevilla have been very disappointing lately – I know Real would have never really been worried about them in the title race, but they had opportunity to make it a close title race and just kept drawing games. They have dropped too many points and basically they just haven’t scored enough goals. I’m pretty confident on the Barcelona win here, but I didn’t expect to see them as short as 1.49 when I clicked into the market.
As I have been saying this season with Barcelona, we are going to see some very different prices compared to when Messi was here. I feel this season has been all about picking and choosing when to back Barcelona – however this time it seems that they are back to their prices of old. Don’t get me wrong, everything lines up for a Barcelona win here. They are in incredible form and Sevilla have been average recently. They were very poor away to West Ham in the second leg when they crashed out of the Europa League and as I said, they just haven’t been doing enough to win games against the smaller La Liga sides. With Barcelona offering little value in the match odds market, I’m happy to turn to the goals market here. Given Sevilla haven’t been creating a lot, I feel Barcelona can keep a clean sheet here. I don’t want to back under 2.5 goals as I can see Barcelona winning 3-0 or 4-0, so Both Teams Not To Score looks a nice value option at 1.89.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.89 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
