LA LIGA SUNDAY: Our new European football tipster The Ultra is in terrific form and now previews Sunday’s La Liga matches between ALAVES v BARCELONA, ATLETICO MADRID v REAL SOCIEDAD and LEGANES v REAL MADRID all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ALAVES V BARCELONA
8pm It’s the last day in La Liga! Although we might see some random results and have to question what teams are thinking, a fascinating day awaits! I think we all know looking at the Barcelona performance on Thursday night that they knew the league was gone and that was that. They ended up losing in the dying seconds against Osasuna, and although they deserve to lose, they didn’t deserve to win either. They have been out of sorts this season and I expect an open game to end their season.
Alaves had been on a poor run but they won on Thursday night against Real Betis in an excellent game. They won 2-1, but the xG was 2.5 to 2.28 in their favour. I expect a pretty similar game here with both teams going for it and not really bothered about defending. Of course, with nothing to play for we could easily see a low tempo game as well and that’s why I’ve kept me stakes low but we landed BTTS with Barcelona Thursday and I think the same bet is worth backing at 1.85 here.

ATLETICO MADRID V REAL SOCIEDAD
8pm We landed an excellent bet with Atletico Madrid on Thursday night, and I’m very happy to back them at odds against here. They were 2.4 on Thursday when they beat Getafe 2-0 and we had four points win, I am happy with the same stake at 2.04 to beat Real Sociedad tonight. Sociedad haven’t been impressive since returning from lockdown – they have managed to get some results and largely frustrated sides but Atletico have been excellent lately.
The home side are actually unbeaten in their last 15 La Liga games, but it is their xG numbers that have impressed me since returning. Their last few games haven’t been as impressive as two or three weeks ago, but they keep getting the job done nonetheless and with Sociedad not playing good football looking at their xG numbers, Atletico are another confident bet here.

LEGANES V REAL MADRID
8pm Real Madrid were crowned Champions on Thursday night and they are deserved La Liga Champions! They have been absolutely excellent since returning from lockdown, winning all ten of their fixtures. We all got a great laugh from Gareth Bale and his expressions on Thursday night, but don’t let that take away from the fantastic job Zidane has done since he came back. He’s left out some big names, but the performances have been excellent. They have grinded out the last two games under title pressure, but prior to that they have been blowing teams away.
They are 2.5 to beat Leganes which obviously wouldn’t be the case if they hadn’t have just lifted the title. As we seen with Liverpool in the Premier League it’s so easy to take your foot off the gas when the goal is reached. And Liverpool even had the record points win to go for. I couldn’t put anyone off a punt on Real at the odds given their talent, however Leganes are in a battle to stay up and will be fighting for survival. I expect plenty of chances and over 2.5 goals is worth backing at 1.9. It’s hard to see Real not attacking with a care free attitude and Leganes have to go for it if they fall behind.
