REAL MADRID V GIRONA

3.15pm We have an excellent Sunday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have action from La Liga and the Bundesliga, and I’m sure the Real Madrid and Bayern Munich double will be a popular bet! We start the day in La Liga with Real Madrid hosting Girona – at one stage last season this was a top of the table clash but Girona have been well off the pace this season. I know they were always going to find it very difficult after over-performing to finish in the top four last season, but they have dramatically gone backwards this season. Their average xG created is only 1.23, and a figure like that isn’t going to trouble Real Madrid when they have home advantage. Los Blancos have had an up-and-down few days; the low of dropping points against Osasuna with the Jude Bellingham red chat was followed by dumping Manchester City out of the Champions League. That was a huge night for Mbappe who was the target for some Real Madrid fans when they were dropping points at the start of the season. This is a game that Real will be fully expected to win, and they come into the game as the red-hot favourites.

Real Madrid are trading 1.3 with Girona 11.0 and the draw is 6.8 at the time of writing. Given the way Girona have been playing this season, I can’t see past a comfortable win for Real here. Obviously there’s no prizes for tipping a 1.3 shot so I’m going to look around the side markets here, but I couldn’t put anyone off including Real in any Acca this weekend. This one is going to be about how many goals can Real score in my opinion – they are trading 1.77 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap which looks a nice position. However, Girona have only managed an average xG created of 1.08 away from home this season – I know Real like to play an open game, but Both Teams Not To Score catches my eye at 2.14. That’s effectively a Real clean sheet in my opinion – I’m happy to keep stakes small on this bet because we know how open Real play, especially when they go two or three goals up, but Girona have been very limited away from home and I’d have BTTS No a little shorter than 2.14.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams Not To Score at 2.14 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BAYERN MUNICH V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

4.30pm We move over to the Bundesliga to finish the action on Sunday as Bayern Munich host Eintracht Frankfurt. Bayern had a huge clash last weekend away to Bayer Leverkusen, and they would have been happy with a 0-0 draw. As I said in my preview of that game, Leverkusen really needed to win that game to have any chance in the title race. They aren’t going to close an eight point gap given the gulf in class between the top two and the rest in the Bundesliga. The market here is a perfect example of that. Eintracht Frankfurt are sitting in third spot, but Bayern come into the game as the red-hot favourites fully expected to win. Bayern are trading as short as 1.33 with Eintracht Frankfurt 9.6 and the draw is 6.8 at the time of writing. Frankfurt have deserved to be sitting in third too – they have the third best attacking figure in the Bundesliga and there’s a bit of a gap to the rest too. Obviously there’s a big gap between the top two and the rest – Bayern have an average xG created of 2.15 and Frankfurt have a figure of 1.69.

You can quite easily make the case that Frankfurt are the third best side in Germany this season, and yet the market just expects Bayern to brush them aside. The major difference between the sides is their defensive records though – Bayern have the best defensive figure from all of Europe’s elite leagues with an average xG conceded of 0.74 while Frankfurt are over double that at 1.6. That is a massive figure to bring away to Bayern – so far this season sides haven’t fully been taking their chances against Frankfurt, but that’s the joint-third worst defensive figure in the Bundesliga and you just know that Bayern will take full advantage of that. I expect a comfortable Bayern win here – I would happily include them in any weekend Acca – but I’m going to aim for a nice price here. Bayern are 1.8 to cover a 1.5 goal handicap, but I’m going to take a chance on Any Other Home Win (Bayern to score four or more goals and win) in the Correct Score market at 3.4. With the chances Frankfurt are conceding, Bayern can run riot here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Any Other Home Win Correct Score at 3.4 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
