SUNDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s top Ligue 1 / Bundesliga / La Liga games – all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

SAINT-ETIENNE V PSG

12pm What a superb Sunday across Europe, we really do have a blockbuster day ahead on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have some proper high quality fixtures today and plenty of talking points to look forward to. We start in Ligue 1 as Saint-Etienne host league leaders PSG. I’d be lying if I said this wouldn’t be a routine win for PSG, but it’s been an eventful week for the club nonetheless. It started when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked by Manchester United last weekend and Pochettino seemed very keen on the United job. We are only going by “sources” here, but he seemed very interested. He then went to Manchester City midweek and lost in the Champions League, and now he finds themselves in a bit of trouble. The PSG board are probably a little offended by the rumours, but it seems Manchester United are going to employ an interim manager until the end of the season. There are rumours now that PSG are interested in Zinedine Zidane after he showed no interest in the United job, and it’s all very interesting to see what actually happens.

In terms of this game, the drama off the pitch is probably a little more interesting than what happens on the pitch. PSG can stay in first gear and still win this one – Saint-Etienne are sitting in the relegation zone and have only managed 12 points from 14 games this season. Luckily for them, there’s a host of clubs in the mix to go down this season – at the start of the weekend there was four clubs on 13 points just ahead of them. This is a question of how many goals PSG can score rather than will they win, and it will be interesting to see how they react after the Champions League loss. Although Saint-Etienne are in the bottom two, they actually come into the fixture unbeaten in four as they have put together some good performances. Perhaps that’s why PSG are over 1.3 here as they trade 1.36. PSG can cover the handicap here though, the 1.92 -1.5 goals looks nice value to start the day. The home side are very limited, and PSG will enjoy the step down in class here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win PSG -1.5 goals to beat Saint-Etienne at 1.92 with BETDAQ Exchange.

RB LEIPZIG V BAYER LEVERKUSEN/h2>

4.30pm Next we move to the Bundesliga for a cracker as RB Leipzig host Bayer Leverkusen. After starting the season in such poor form, RB Leipzig have been slowly creeping back to some decent form. They had been moving up the table, but they did suffer a big setback last weekend with a 2-0 loss away to Hoffenheim. Their performance was very poor too, they conceded an xG of 3.06 and created just 0.28. It was good to see them bounce back to form with a 5-0 win over Club Brugge in the Champions League midweek, but I wouldn’t be rushing to back them at odds on here. It was nice to land a Max Bet on Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League on Thursday, and they have been playing good football in general this season. They started the weekend sitting just in the top four, and given the drop off from some sides in the Bundesliga this season, you’d have to say Leverkusen have a decent chance of finishing top four. This is a massive game in that regard, because a win for RB Leipzig would put them level on points with Leverkusen and see Leverkusen under immense pressure then.

So, a fascinating game awaits! Both sides like to play an open and attacking brand of football so we should see a very end-to-end game here. Although it’s very tempting to lay RB Leipzig here because I don’t make them odds on, the goals market can’t be ignored. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.6 and that looks cracking value. Leverkusen tend to have end-to-end games and even when their games have under 2.5, you can see both sides have finished the game with a decent xG figures. RB Leipzig have had under 2.5 goals land in three of their last six games in all competitions but the underlining numbers tell a different story. For example, they drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt but created an xG of 4.01! I feel both sides will gel together well here and we should have a great game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Leipzig get turned over, but overs is my bet.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.6 with BETDAQ Exchange.

CADIZ V ATLETICO MADRID/h2>

5.30pm Next we move to La Liga as Cadiz host Atletico Madrid. We have a cracker later as Real Madrid host Sevilla, but Atletico will see this fixture as a great chance to go past Sevilla and get to within one point of Real Madrid for the time being. A draw would be an ideal result for Atletico later, but they have to get the job done here first. It’s fair to say that they haven’t been at their best this season and that’s reflected in the table. Real haven’t been at their best either, but they are already four points ahead of Atletico. Given the big lead Atletico had last season and that they just hung on, it’s hard to see them keeping their title at the moment. Cadiz are fighting a completely different fight as they are in a relegation battle this season. They managed to put three games unbeaten together with a shock win away to Athletic Bilbao, but then they lost 4-0 to Getafe last weekend and that was a big blow for them considering Getafe were bottom of the table.

That loss puts them under huge pressure, and they will definitely be looking over their shoulders in the coming weeks as they are likely to lose here too. I’m happy to keep stakes reasonably small for this game as I know Atletico haven’t been creating the same volume of chances this season, but the 1.52 on the away win looks too big here. They were able to grind out a 1-0 win last weekend against Osasuna, and although they lost 1-0 to AC Milan midweek in the Champions League, it was a close game. My main worry is they conceded a bigger xG away to Levante recently in their 2-2 draw, but Cadiz have been very average this season. They have consistently given away a host of chances, and Atletico can get the job done here – it’s just a case of limiting stakes because we know Atletico are fully firing.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Atletico Madrid to beat Cadiz at 1.52 with BETDAQ Exchange.

REAL MADRID V SEVILLA/h2>

8pm We finish a superb Sunday with a wonderful fixture as Real Madrid host Sevilla. With Barcelona well off the pace at the top of La Liga, you could argue that this is the most important league fixture between these sides for a long time. Sevilla have always been a top quality side and they have had great success in the Europa League over the years, and while they can mix it with the big boys over 90 minutes, they always came up short over the course of the season. They are likely to come up short again, but they will start this game just two points behind Real Madrid. With Barcelona dropping down the table and Atletico Madrid not being at their best this season, they have a fantastic chance to “challenge” for the title. Even getting into the mix as we get closer to the run-in would be a fantastic achievement. They have dropped some silly points recently though – the 1-1 at Mallorca and 2-2 at home to Alaves were games they should have won on paper.

Real have put five wins together in all competitions since drawing 0-0 with Osasuna and whole they were performing well against average La Liga sides, they didn’t exactly have an enjoyable match midweek in the Champions League. They won 3-0, but the game was actually much closer than that against low quality opposition. You always know that Real will turn up for the big games though, and they will know how important this game is with Barcelona and Atletico a little off the pace. A win here could put their stamp on the title race, even though they already sit top. Sevilla have thrown in some poor results this season, but by and large their performances have been excellent. They have been unlucky, for example they lost 1-0 to Granada but the game finished 1.84 to 0.07 on xG to Sevilla and drew 1-1 with Elche but created an xG of 2.19. I think we’ll get a very good game here, and Real are too short at 1.7 – I would have them a couple of ticks bigger than that against this rock solid Sevilla side. We should have an entertaining game, but the value is with the Real lay in my view.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Real Madrid to beat Sevilla at 1.7 with BETDAQ Exchange.
