SERIE A PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s end of season games between ATALANTA v AC MILAN and BOLOGNA V JUVENTUS both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ATALANTA V AC MILAN
7.45pm We continue the drama in Europe with the final day of Serie A on Sunday! The title and relegation may already be decided in Serie A, but we have a huge battle for the Champions League spots and we could see some shockwaves through Europe after today. To add even more spice to the final day, Atalanta and AC Milan play each other – Atalanta have the luxury of a two point advantage over AC Milan, but a draw won’t be good enough for AC Milan if Napoli and Juventus win. What a day! We’re bound to see some huge drama in-running on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. It’s very likely, looking at the odds, that Napoli and Juventus both win – so the pressure is really on this game. We have a hugely open market, and this really is a fascinating game. A draw would be enough for Atalanta, but obviously not AC Milan.
In fairness to AC Milan, they have finished the season strongly after a terrible run that saw them drop from top spot down to fight for the top four. They could be in a much better position too, but they could only manage a 0-0 draw with Cagliari last weekend. They had a huge win over Juventus towards the start of the month, but Juventus bounced back with a win over Inter Milan. Juventus also beat Atalanta midweek in the Coppa Italia final, but other than that loss Atalanta have been playing some excellent football towards the end of the season. If you look at their recent xG figures you will see figures likes 2.12, 1.65, 3.17, 1.74 and 4.08. There’s no doubt this will be a close game, but Atalanta should win for me. I would back them at 2.56, but with a draw being good enough I’m happy to have the draw on my side and lay AC Milan at 2.58. Atalanta have been the better side this season and this price is much too short on AC Milan.

BOLOGNA V JUVENTUS
7.45pm Next we have Bologna taking on Juventus, in a must win game for Juventus. They start the final day outside the Champions League spots and it would be a huge blow if they miss out on the Champions League. Ronaldo would want to leave and it seems likely the other stars will want to leave too. The money isn’t as big as it once was in Serie A and it would be a massive blow. They are “lucky” that Atalanta and AC Milan play each other on the final day, as that has really opened the door for them. They aren’t relying on other results so to speak, because someone has to drop points and miss out in the other game. Juventus could be out of the race already, but they have had a massive week. They managed a 3-2 win over Inter Milan before beating Atalanta in the Coppa Italia Final on Wednesday. That win against Inter Milan was badly needed, and they shouldn’t make any mistakes here.
Bologna are your average mid-table Serie A side, and they are finishing the season reasonably poorly. They have managed four draws from their last six games, which is enough to make Juventus fans nervous, and if you look at their xG figures they have been creating some decent chances. Look through their last four games and you will see xG figures like 2.07, 2.48, 2.58 and 2.11. They have been unlucky not to win more games recently, and Juventus will have to be in top form to beat them. Don’t get me wrong, it’s likely Juventus win – but from a value point of view I just can’t have Juventus at odds of 1.28. I know there is pressure on the market will the “need to win” factored into the odds, but I fully expect Bologna to out play those odds and from a value point of view Juventus are worth a small lay.
