ATALANTA V LAZIO

5pm It’s a Sunday from Europe right out of the top drawer on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with all the focus on Serie A! We have wo superb fixtures to go through, starting with Atalanta hosting Lazio. This is a huge game for both sides who have been dropping far too many points lately. Atalanta have dropped out of the title race with back-to-back losses, meaning they start the weekend nine points behind Inter Milan now – that gap looks extremely difficult to close – they just have to keep winning games and see what happens. Lazio desperately need a win too; they have dropped points in their last five of their last six Serie A games meaning they’ve dropped down to seventh. There’s still lots to play for though because they come into the weekend only four points behind Bologna in fourth. So, the stakes couldn’t be higher for these two – Atalanta come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.75 with Lazio 5.2 and the draw is 4.1 at the time of writing. Although Lazio dropped points again on Monday at home to Torino, they played well and deserved to win – that was a promising performance, even though they didn’t get the result. They needed a decent performance after the 5-0 loss to Bologna.

Atalanta had a difficult fixture list but lost either side of the International Break against Inter Milan and Fiorentina. They did the main damage to their title challenge with a run of four games without a win in December/January. It’s hard to put a finger on what has gone wrong for Atalanta; they have the best attacking figure in Serie A this season and haven’t been under-performing. Lazio have improved a lot in front of goal; they have the fourth best attacking figure but they have been sloppy at the back, that’s why they are a little further down the table. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.88, and I’m not so sure I would have it that big. I’m going to keep stakes reasonably low here because obviously Atalanta have been quite impressive at the back, but this fixture has a very good history of seeing goals. Over 2.5 goals has landed in eight of the last twelve meetings, and three of those games had two goals as well. With both sides effectively needing a win to at least stay competitive, I expect an open game with plenty of chances.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.88 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ROMA V JUVENTUS

7.45pm We finish Sunday with another blockbuster fixture from Serie A as Roma host Juventus. Once again, this is a massive game for both sides. They come into this game with only three points between them, and with Roma the side behind they need a win here with home advantage. As things stand, Juventus are only one point behind Bologna in fourth and Roma are four – they both still have a decent chance of getting into the Champions League spots. We have an open betting heat with Roma coming into the game as the favourites at 2.6 with Juventus 3.2 and the draw is 3.2 at the time of writing. Roma have been through a lot this season – they sacked their manager quite early, and brought in Claudio Ranieri to steady the ship; he’s done a great job in fairness. There’s very little between the sides on paper here – on xG figures there’s only 0.01 between the sides. Juventus have been better at the back, but there really isn’t much in it – Juventus have an average xG conceded of 1.1 and Roma sit at 1.26. Both sides have been over-performing at the back by a little; both have been exceptionally solid.

It’s hard to see anything other than a very close game here to be honest; looking at the table a draw wouldn’t be the end of the world for either side – it keeps them in the hunt and Bologna have a tough fixture on Monday night against Napoli too. It’s hard to see a very open game here, and obviously attention turns to Under 2.5 goals which is trading 1.72. That’s an appealing bet in my opinion, as is the draw at 3.2 in the match odds market in what should be a very close game. Under 2.5 goals has landed in the last five meetings between the sides, and seven of the last eight. Roma have a lot of momentum and confidence coming into this fixture; they’ve won their last seven Serie A games which is obviously an impressive run. I wouldn’t be surprised if they could grind out a 1-0 win here, and for that reason I much prefer the Under 2.5 goals option compared to the draw – the 1.72 is a confident bet to finish the day.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.72 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
