SUNDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews a superb Sunday fixture list in Europe including ‘El Clasico’ BARCELONA v REAL MADRID at 3.15pm. All match previews include a recommended BETDAQ bet.

SEVILLA V LEVANTE

1pm What a fantastic day in Europe! Days like this don’t come around often and I’m really looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the action. We have a fascinating day ahead on BETDAQ Betting Exchange, and some intriguing markets to get stuck into. We have a huge day in La Liga today and that’s where we start as Sevilla host Levante. Sevilla had to settle for a draw mid-week in the Champions League away to Lille but in general they have been in superb form this season. They were very unlucky recently to lose to Granada, losing 1-0 but creating an xG of 1.84 to 0.07 – it was one of the most unlucky results of the La Liga season this year! They should have no trouble beating this Levante side, and they look cracking value at 1.48 to start the day.

Levante started this weekend sitting in the bottom three, and they have yet to win a league game this season. They have managed five draws from nine games, which would hold you back a little when thinking about what kind of stake to have on Sevilla. Although they gave away a higher xG, they held Real Madrid to a 3-3 draw at the start of the season. They have been lucky and unlucky at times – they were unlucky recently against Mallorca but then they drew 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano when conceding an xG of 3.36 for example. Sevilla have been rock solid this season in my opinion and although we could have a slow start here, Sevilla usually warm-up in the second half and get the job done. They should have too much class for this Levante side.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Sevilla to beat Levante at 1.48 with BETDAQ Exchange.

BARCELONA V REAL MADRID

3.15pm Next we have the big one, El Clasico! I fully understand why they need to have this game at this time sometimes because of other commitments and tournaments, but in my opinion it just isn’t the same – I would always have the fixture at 8pm! The atmosphere would be better, and you can’t beat that for a bit of drama. I have to say, neither side have been lacking drama this season! Barcelona are trying to recover from losing Messi amongst other star players and Real Madrid are always going through some sort of drama in the dressing room. It’s been a while since we seen Gareth Bale – of course he’s been told already he has no future at the club by Carlo Ancelotti, and I’m sure his golf game will improve during this season if nothing else. Getting back to the real stuff, this is an excellent time to have this fixture. We get to see how Barcelona are coping and where they really stand.

I have to say, I feel they will come up short here. They already lost 2-0 to Atletico Madrid this season, and they have been played off the park at times in the Champions League. They’ve also slipped up against average La Liga sides, and you can just see that this isn’t the same Barcelona team that were used to seeing. I’m actually surprised to see Real Madrid trading so big here at 2.54. I know El Clasico’s are always close games, but I would definitely have Real shorter given all the change in Barcelona this season. That’s not to say that Real are without issues – they managed to lose 2-1 to Espanyol before the International break and no longer sit top of La Liga, but overall they are in a much better place than Barcelona and I have to take the 2.54 on offer. It’s too big to turn down.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid to beat Barcelona at 2.54 with BETDAQ Exchange.

INTER MILAN V JUVENTUS

7.45pm Next we move over to Serie A for another huge game. There was a time this game would be the highlight of the season and possibly decide the title, but times have changed quickly over the last two seasons. Juventus barely made it into the Champions League spots last season and needed other results to go their way on the final day. Since letting CR7 go their standard has dropped further and they made a very slow start to the season. They have bounced back to put four wins together coming into this game, and longer if you include their Champions League games, but they already find themselves ten points behind league leaders Napoli. Inter Milan are also off the pace at the top of the table, losing a big game last weekend away to Lazio – they are now seven points behind Napoli at the start of the weekend.

Inter finished last season very strongly to catch AC Milan and win the title easily. They will feel that they can do the same, although they did cash in on selling Lukaku to Chelsea. Napoli fans can dream for the time being, but for these two clubs this is a massive game. Juventus are definitely under pressure – they started the weekend in 7th and given how last season went, they are in big danger of missing out on the Champions League and the money that goes with it. If you include Champions League games, Juventus have grinded out four 1-0 wins in a row. Compare that to Inter games which have been very open. Although there’s only been one goal in the Juventus game, they have been giving away too many chances this season. I feel Inter will win here but the 2.18 looks priced correctly. Over 2.5 goals looks the value play at 1.84 considering both sides have big issues at the back.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.18 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ATLETICO MADRID V REAL SOCIEDAD

8pm We move back to La Liga to finish the day with another massive fixture. Atletico Madrid host Real Sociedad in a fascinating top of the table clash. Real Sociedad started the weekend top of the table – I know they have played more games but for the moment their fans can dream. Of course, we saw a very similar start for Sociedad before falling away very quickly, but given Barcelona have dropped off the pace and clearly Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid haven’t been at their best this season, maybe they can hang in the title race for a little longer than expected. To do that however, they need to get a result here, and I actually think they will. Atletico Madrid look very short at 1.69 in what should be a close game. You can see looking at their xG figures that they haven’t been at their best this season.

I know Real Sociedad are probably a solid Europa League side and nothing more – finishing fifth or sixth in La Liga – but this is a big chance for them. Atletico managed to beat Barcelona 2-0 prior to the International break, but before that game you could see that they were struggling to create chances. They have had to grind out a lot of games – I know they always had that grinding style, but usually they hammered the average La Liga sides. Not only that, but they have also been giving away too many chances. Sociedad like to try and keep games tight – their last five games have had under 2.5 goals, and I’m sure they will go into this game with a mindset of a draw but I expect a very close game here. I felt Atletico would be around 1.9 not 1.7 and I’m very happy to lay 1.69 from a value point of view. I expect a closer game than those odds reflect.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Atletico Madrid to beat Real Sociedad at 1.69with BETDAQ Exchange.
