BARCELONA v OSASUNA

8pm Domestic football returns on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE a little earlier than usual after an International Break as we have La Liga action on Thursday night! Usually, most of the European leagues wait until at least Friday before having a fixture. This fixture was orginally postponed following the death of Barcelona’s club doctor, and then it was pencilled in for this date. Both clubs were unhappy given how close the date was to the International Break, but those concerns obviously fell on deaf ears.

We had some huge games during the International Break with the Nations League Quarter-Finals and Playoffs, but it is great to have domestic football back. It’s hard to get too hyped up for International football outside of the major tournaments. With the Premier League and the Bundesliga already decided, we only have La Liga and Serie A for some drama in a title race this season. Barcelona are in a strong positon at the top of La Liga, and a win here would see them create a three point gap with Real Madrid and a seven point gap with Atletico Madrid which would become massive in a matter of weeks given Atletico looked very strong.

A big reason for that gap was Barcelona’s huge 4-2 win over Atletico Madrid just before the International Break. That game turned the title race on its head in the 90 minutes give Atletico had a 2-0 lead, only for Barcelona to take a 3-2 lead in the 92th minute. Who else but Lamine Yamal – what a star he is quickly becoming! This is a game that Barcelona will be fully expected to win and create that three point lead over Real Madrid, and they are trading as the red-hot favourites. Barcelona are trading 1.27 with Osasuna 11.5 and the draw is 7.4 at the time of writing.

It’s very hard to see past a Barcelona win here; Osasuna have been your classic mid-table La Liga side for a number of years now, but they have been struggling this season. They’ve only managed one win in 15 La Liga games, but they have been getting a lot of draws which is something to consider before backing 1.27. There’s no prizes for tipping prices that short, so I’m going to look around the side markets for some value here. Osasuna have been a lot harder to beat with home advantage compared to away from home, but they did go into the International Break leaking goals.

They conceded three times in an entertaining home draw with Valencia who have been in the relegation battle this season, and then they lost 2-1 to Getafe with home advantage too. Barcelona have the best attacking figure in La Liga with an average xG created of 1.90 and the best defensive figure too; their average xG conceded is only 1.01. Given Osasuna have been very limited in attack – their average xG created is only 1.28 – I feel Barcelona can keep a clean sheet here on the way to winning. Both Teams Not To Score is a very nice bet at 2.26 in my opinion.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 2.26 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
