FRANCE V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

7.45pm It feels like this International Break has come at us very fast this season, but the UEFA Euro Qualifiers return on Friday on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. We have some very interesting fixtures over this International break, and very important ones too. We kick off the action with France hosting the Republic of Ireland. Already on the backfoot massively in Group B, the last thing Republic of Ireland need was their star striker Evan Ferguson out injured for the games against France and Netherlands. When the Groups were made, Ireland pretty much had no chance of qualifying against sides like that and perhaps it will be damage limitation this week. They recorded an expected win over Gibraltar to end the last International break, but Ireland have been out of their depth for a while now against the better sides. They have stuck with Stephen Kenny in charge who has huge domestic League of Ireland support, and it will be interesting to see how the fans react to the results this week.

France come into the game as the red-hot favourites. They are trading 1.26 at the time of writing, and only sides facing San Marino and Faroe Islands are trading shorter from all the fixtures on Thursday. I can’t see past a French win here, and although we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value I couldn’t put anyone off including them in an Acca this week. It’s a case of how many goals France can score rather than will they win in my opinion. The two sides have already met in Group B when Ireland had home advantage and they managed to hold France to a 1-0 win. France beat Netherlands 4-0 in Paris the same week though! Ireland are going to put XI men behind the ball here and play for a draw – especially with Ferguson out, and they might be able to keep the score line respectable. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.73, so the market is expecting Ireland to try keep things as tight as possible. I feel the better option is Both Teams Not To Score at 1.62. I can’t see Ireland creating much and helping France in the goals market, so this option takes away how many goals France can score. I just don’t see Ireland causing the French many problems.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.62 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

SLOVENIA V NORTHERN IRELAND

7.45pm Next we move to Group H as Slovenia hosting Northern Ireland. After three losses from their four games, it looks like Northern Ireland’s hopes of qualification automatically are gone. They’ve only managed a win against San Marino, and the 1-0 loss at home to Kazakhstan was the nail in the coffin. What’s worse for Northern Ireland is that they have been so poor in the Nations League that they aren’t going to get into the Playoffs either. They finished level on points at the bottom of their Nations League Group but it nearly would have been better if they got relegated so they can just start from the bottom and build their confidence. The Nations League has been a shocking tournament for them – they had to wait years for a win even! This is a massive game for Slovenia, who will be looking at this fixture as a must win game. The Group is wide open with Finland and Kazakhstan on nine points while Denmark and Slovenia have seven. Denmark would have been fully expected to top this Group so an early loss for them has opened things up and made it very interesting!

Slovenia come into this game as the odds on favourites, the home win is currently trading 1.88 with Northern Ireland 5.1 and the draw is 3.55. Northern Ireland are generally a lot better at home compared to away from home, and the 1.88 is an appealing bet. They managed to hold Denmark to a 1-1 draw here, and they were able to beat Kazakhstan away from home too, and we know Kazakhstan managed to beat Northern Ireland. I’m not going to go mad with stakes here because I expected Northern Ireland to sit back, however I feel Slovenia should be closer to 1.8 than 1.9. It might not be a pretty game to watch, but the home side can grind out a win here and a massive three points in this Group.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Slovenia to beat Northern Ireland at 1.88 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
